Beautiful hotel, excellent staff. Really cool decor, love all the art and cool fun touches (like the moveable penguins and glass sculpture in the lobby). Pool was really nice, as are the fitness rooms. Really cool bar area. We loved our stay here!

Former YMCA renovated into a hotel. Very nicely laid out and decorated. They kept some of the original aneminities like the lap pool and basket court they use for an event center. The rooms are not cramped and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Your front desk was super friendly. Room was a good size and a super comfy bed. Love all the art in the hotel and just a really good vibe. I enjoyed my dinner at your restaurant. Food was delish. Would definitely be a returning guest next time I come to St Louis.
The pool was pretty amazing too!

My partner and I had an anniversary night there and it was pretty nice. I honestly think it was genius use of the old ymca building. The art was interesting and entertaining, we were able to walk easily to several other city experiences in minutes. Great showers, cozy rooms and a great staff. Very accommodating employees and beautiful views too!

There is so much to love about this hotel. A shuffleboard table, great cafe, fantastic bar and restaurant, and an incredible pool/spa. I wanted so much to give this 5 stars but I agree with everyone else that housekeeping wasn't great. There were clothes from the previous occupants that we found in the closet and yet there was no "do not disturb" sign. The elevators were also extremely slow during peak activity. Most resorted to utilizing the stairs. I also agree with the others that $45/night to park your car is a lot especially for unprotected parking. Grateful our car wasn't broken into.

Overall would stay here again but will keep these other aspects in mind.

What a wonderful experience! I had the opportunity to enjoy drinks at the bar and take in the art they have upstairs with friends. It was awesome! I highly recommend you check it out. I will definitely be back to stay at the hotel when I'm in town.

Booking was easy online. Thought the rate was decently competitive. A nice hotel, which I found out from an employee while staying there, is a newly renovated building. I think it is pretty well located in the downtown area and fairly close to many other attractions. I thought the hotel was decently clean, not quite immaculate, but certainly acceptable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had an experience where I believe they went above and beyond my expectations in making sure I was taken care of. The hotel restaurant (for breakfast) was very nice. A simple setup, but more importantly, nicely laid out. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to, but did not end up having time, to visit the bar and restaurant in the hotel for dinner or a nightcap. It certainly looked like a nice place, though. The parking attendants outside the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They had all the information and suggestions memorized that I needed to consider in order to choose my parking option. Very friendly gentlemen who were very often right at the door to help people inside and say a friendly greeting.
I would love to stay at the 21C Museum Hotel again the next time I visit St. Louis.
Thank you so much!

I enjoyed my stay at 21C hotel in St. Louis. It is a beautiful hotel, with up to date, clean rooms, exceptional customer service and many offerings beyond a room. 21 C is truly an experience that has a lot to offer which makes it stand out among other generic hotels. Art gallery, indoor pool/hot tub/sauna/gym, a fabulous café offering exceptional coffee, teas, breakfast and lunch. A beautiful restaurant with dinner offerings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I did not have a car for my stay, but walked where I needed to go and felt safe doing so.

The hotel design was amazing. The round bar design allowed a great view of everyone enjoying their drinks. The leather strap design in the restaurant was fantastic. French toast was great. Pool was quaint. It all just works.
Shout out to Tom who handled our luggage and car both with great care!

What a beautiful property. Food, service, ambiance all fantastic. Can't wait to go back for dinner and drinks. I cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay here but we had a great experience when we stumbled on the hotel after seeing the SLSO at the Stifel Theatre. We were curious so we dropped in to check it out. The first thing we saw was this massive crystal bowl which was part of the gallery artwork very eye-catching in the middle of the lobby. It was 9: 30pm so we checked out the bar and decided to have some cocktails which were awesome and then we ordered the field green salad and some dessert (we had already eaten dinner before the Symphony). The salad was perfectly dressed and had these crispy bits of serrano ham, manchego cheese and marcona almonds - just amazing taste & texture. We then finished off with dessert, The Tarta De Santiago; ALMOND CAKE, POWDERED SUGAR, COFFEE ICE CREAM - it was AMAZING. Would go back just for this dessert. People watching was so much fun as there were people from all generations. After drinking and eating the place was even busier around 10: 30 we wandered around the art gallery which was so enjoyable. The building has some very unique features and was originally constructed as a YMCA almost 100 years ago. Check out my photo of the gym and track which is now part of the art gallery.

The hotel is a great addition to the STL downtown and close walking to the soccer stadium, Schlafly brewery, Union Station, and the Arch. We loved everything about the hotel and had fun exploring everything it had to offer!

Stayed here two weeks ago for a wedding. It was a small, but nice room. Very loud and hard to hear the front desk while checking in on a Friday night.

The biggest issue was parking. Since they didn’t have a lot available I opted for the $45/night valet service my first night there, thinking they had a reserved place to park. In the morning when I came downstairs and called the car the attendant gave me the key and it had been parked on the street about 75 feet from where I dropped it off the night before, which is in no way worth $45. The next night I parked on the opposite side of the street and paid $5 for city parking, directly in front of the hotel.

On my way home however I had a charge for $96.50 on my credit card, when I called I was told there was a recycled water bottle fee on every room whether you drink the water or not, and that was charged for two night of valet service. I asked why I was charged for a second night if I didn’t hand them my keys and I was told that it was assumed if I used it one night I would use it both, and the front desk agent couldn’t adjust the charge because the valet company was a third party. I asked for the valet contact information, which she did not provide, and I was told that I should have informed the front desk if I wasn’t going to use the valet a second night. Which doesn’t really make sense to me, if it’s a third party and the hotel can’t do anything about the price, why tell the front desk? Very confusing. She told me that getting it adjusted would be a hassle (very surprising to be told) but that she would look into it.

It has been two weeks and I have not heard back. I even found the General Manager JP Roberts on LinkedIn and wrote to his provided email address, but no response there either. The charge is still the same.

Over all my stay was the definition of “okay. ” I’d really appreciate hearing from someone to help with my parking situation. Due to it I would not stay here or recommend it to anyone with a vehicle.

I am so thrilled 21c has come to St. Louis! I have visited others in Bentonville and Louisville and am excited STL has one now.

I attended an event here on the second floor and it was lovely. Gorgeous design and art. I love how they built it in a historic building that was a YMCA. I don't believe there is hotel parking, just street parking, at least that was the case for events. There was valet parking for $15.

I'll be staying overnight later this month as well as attending a work retreat there so will update with more info about my stay.

I really in enjoyed my time at this hotel. Great room, comfortable bed and nice layout. The bar and lobby area are enjoyable. I had a great experience checking in with a young lady named Saida on 11/3/23. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the man I was traveling with and I both had key card problems, me on Friday and him on Saturday of the visit. So we had to encounter the same employee two days in a row for the same problem. He was an unpleasant, condescending and sarcastic person. African-American man with a mustache. Worked nights on November 3 and 4,2023. Other than him, the stay was great! It’s a bit of a walk to get to a lot of the attractions, but certainly doable.
