54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar- Liberty Area, Kansas City MO

I loved their cheesburger sliders and always got them in the past, eating two and saving two for another day. Now that they've changed their menu I get their smashed cheeseburger, which is basically a double cheeseburger. I separate the burgers and save one for later, thus getting two meals out of them again. 54th Street is getting to be my favorite place to eat in Liberty!

Very good service! Waitress was funny and efficient. We had a large group but the drinks and food still came out fairly quickly.

I’m a picky person so I usually only like a few menu items at most restaurants however, at 54th street I have never been disappointed from steak to pasta even tacos and seafood…. All of their menu items are always cooked perfect and have great flavors. At this specific location the meat is never dry and cooking is always top notch.

Ordered the baby back ribs. They were great but the pickup service was even better. The attendant was professional/courteous.

I signed up to be a secret shopper for this location. There were multiple items that I was to complete. Order an app, main courses, and to also walk up to the bar and order a drink separately. I spent $60+ on the visit. After I completed that visit, a few weeks later I was called and asked to do another visit. So I did. Spent $60+ again and took the time to fill out the long questionnaire. However, I was unaware at the time, that my first visit was not going to be reimbursed simply because I did not take a picture of the drink. And the second time I went it was so busy there was absolutely no way for me to order a separate drink at the bar. Plus they would always tell me, "Just order a drink from your server. " So I did. In the end I'm out plenty of time and the money I spent ordering specific items. I feel like I gave great detailed feedback but simply because the drink wasn't ordered at the bar and a picture not taken of it on the first visit then I am just out of luck. Not good business. 54th Street should examine how they do secret shoppers. I feel taken advantage of especially since they were willing to call me back to do it again. Why would I get a call back if the first one was not good enough?

Sunday evening January 2 2022 I ordered the Cali blue salad same salad I have eaten for years and for the 100th time it was made incorrectly I called to speak to a manager after I expressed my frustration I was cussed out and called ignorant by the manager named Andrew after he disrespected me I asked him his name and told him it was inappropriate he told me I didn't need to know his GD name and proceeded to hang up on me I will be contacting corporate and never eating there again If u want to be treated like trash and disrespected eat at 54th street in liberty

Came for delivery, had to stop someone to get assistance. Didn't seem like they wanted to be very helpful, never visited before after just moving here from Atlanta. Was not impressed.

Food was perfect as always and Robin was our server. He was taking care of the bar side all by himself. Because they was shorthanded. He did an EXCELLENT job taking care of everyone.

Great food, great service, pleasant setting. I watched the dining floor supervisor use a flashlight to inspect the cleanliness of tables before seating guests. Impressively clean restaurant! They had adequate staffing to meet the demand of a nearly full house on a Friday evening.

3 years ago I gave this 54th street 5 stars but last night I ate there and for the last 12 hours have been suffering from food poisoning. I got the Buffalo chicken salad and my husband a stead, his food was sent back and us comped because his steak was not cooked all the way. I worry that they have gotten so busy they have stopped worrying about the quality of food they are serving.

The prime rib French dip didn't have allot of flavor but everyone else in my party thought it was great. Snickerdoodle bar drink was great. Service was very good.

If you like food. Then have their mushrooms. It's an orgasm on a plate. It's so creamy so delicious. The best grilled mushroom I've ever had.

Another great restaurant in Liberty Mo. Good Food, Service and Prices. Full bar. Very busy on weekends. Great staff and waiters.

First time I've ever had problem, ordered grilled chicken Caesar salad, the chicken was hardly cooked.sent it back came back same way.hoping I don't get sick.it tasted funny.

The food is never very good. This is always the last option, even starving seems more tempting than going here most of the time. The service is usually always just ok. There’s a bald guy that works there I believe his name is Jason, he has a serious attitude problem.

After waiting an hour and half even after them trying to discourage us from staying.the service was poor order was incorrect and in all parts couldn't eat the chicken fried chicken. Didn't bring my chain saw. Maybe four strings of cheese on my fries. After the waitress ask many times about how she wanted her steak cooked came out bleeding across the plate. Ordered grilled shrimp with the steak and got fried shrimp got our ticket and just ready to pay and get out. Waited a good 15 min for the waitress to come back just very disappointed and very dissatisfied

Service was amazing. Great atmosphere and plenty of iconic decorations. The menu has something for everyone and the food is delicious.

The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium an it was well done they brought me another one an it was medium well instead

We arrived and told them we had a party of 8. The hostess and I'm assuming a manager said at least an hour and a half wait. Ok. But if we wanna go somewhere else just let them know. Huh? Why would you encourage that? Our food was incorrect and the waitress seemed a little put off that we wanted it fixed. Huh weird. I understand help is minimal but at least get people in there who WANT to be. The best part was Kelsie the bartender. I will NOT be going back.

Not happy at all! We never even sat down. We got there last Sunday, August 29,2021 at about 5: 50pm. They really weren't that busy! We had a party of 7. The young man at the greaters stand was not real consistent on what he told us. He told us he could put 2 tables together on the patio for the 7 of us. But then he told us he couldn't put 2 tables together inside for the 7 of us, because his kitchen couldn't accommodate a group of 7! So right there he is talking out of his rear end. Regardless of where you put your order in from the patio or the dinning room, they both come out of the same kitchen! How ignorant can 1 person be! After that had been said we left and went elsewhere! Not to mention the money your restaurant list that night, you also lost future business!
It will be a long time before we go back to 54 if ever! Thanks for nothing 54
