A. L. Gustin Golf Course reviews
14Were playing behind 4 that is hitting off the gold tees that can't get 100yards off the tee box. Thay can't keep it in the farway, thay need to play where thay have clowns and windmill.
Not a bad course clubhouse girl was kinda hot! Margarita was delicious and a great size. Priced not outrageous
Good track for what it is. 2 stars for layout but 5 stars for how well they take care of it. The greens were in great shape and the course played true. Will definitely keep this track in rotation.
Great layout with rolling hills & beautiful scenery. You'll use every club in your bag. Great service.
I had a great time with my twin sons and son-in-law. Broke 80 from the Black tees on my first round. Can't wait to try again. Hope the Tigers beat the Vols tomorrow.
Very challenging course layout.lots of hills and doglegs. Greens are usually in great shape, fairways in average condition.
The course, for the money, is a fun play. Conditions were fair, and greens rolled true for the most part. The course is a pat 70. Long hitters don't have much of an advantage here. Lots of slope and dog legs and tee shots where the driver can be left in the bag. All in all, fun play for the money.
For the money, was a fun play. The conditions pretty good for the money. It's a par 70 course and you won't need your driver on some of the par fours. There are a lot of undulations and dog legs here so shot precision is at a premium. All in all, would play here again if in the area.
This review is for the driving range only.
Worst driving range I've ever been to. They only have a 75 yard marker and about 100-150 yards the range drops off into a valley and you can't see anything.
I really enjoyed playing this course with my son. We caught up with a couple of regulars and they let us join them. Super cool guys, who had a lot of insight into playing the course. It is not super long, but there are so many side hill lies that even in the fairway you can have a challenging shot. It is very hilly and beautiful. The greens were in excellent shape and the course was very well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a driving range so get there early and warm up. The key is make sure you get there, because it will be a great day of golf.
If you want to improve your game & truly learn how to play, this course will teach you. Fun layout, challenging at times, nice staff.
Be sure to buy extra balls and take your allergy medicine. Beautiful course with lots of rough that eats balls up. I had a sneezing fit on the back 9. Overall a very difficult course. Enjoyed it.
More expensive than the other public courses, not as well maintained, more technical and twisty if you like that sorta thing. Lovely scenery, can lose a lot of balls if you're not accurate, can find a lot of balls if you go bush whacking. The driving range is kinda useless and more expensive than others. Like, yeah, I'm hitting the ball down into a ravine, did it go far enough, did it go straight, did it land at all? Literally have no idea.
Loved it. Never been here before until today! Very nice course for Columbia, MO. Pretty challenging I must say. A lot of dog hook fairways.
