Wow! They did a phenomenal job on rebuilding my transmission for my 1980 Ford Ranger! Just outstanding work and a very fair price especially for prices in this day and age! Was able to have the transmission dropped and put back in about a week! Very quick and efficient work! Trucks been in the family it’s whole life and driving it back home it was shifting amazing! In the 5 years I’ve had it, I have never seen that truck downshift and up shift like it should driving it down any road!

Our car wouldn't start at the nearby gas station, and my husband walked over to Aamco. They were closed, just sweeping up, but one of the guys brought a jump pack over and started us up! Thank you, Dylan!

Transmission on my 2002 Saturn SL2 started shifting very hard so I called up AAMCO since I've gone there before and they did an excellent job on that car. I talked to Jake and he was able to get me in right away (I got lucky) and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and was able to get me back on the road in only one day! Amazing job they did too.my car now shifts another than it did when I first got it! Very satisfied and definitely recommend this location in Wentzville, Missouri!
New review 12/07/2023: I took my 2014 Acura Rdx to Aamco for a new motor mount.had 3 broken bolts and 2 stripped bolts. They got it all fixed and no more engine rockn!

Aamco in Wentzville is awesome. They are professional and honest. Their communication was exceptional as well. I will definitely use them for any future repairs!

After a whirlwind I feel like I need to update this post. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough. After a failed repair well out of town this summer, Aamco went above and beyond to not only fix my transmission correctly, but they worked with the other companies insurance to minimize my need to be in the middle. They were professional, accommodating, and their communication was incredible. I would recommend them to anyone for any vehicle repair needs. They even asked me to come back so they could make sure everything was still running smoothly in a week or so, which was so reassuring for me after going through the ordeal I did. THANK YOU!

I had my car towed there sunday morning. They were immediately working on my car monday morning and I was driving my car again by Tuesday. I was hesitant about this location because i’ve only used the AAMCO in St. Charles, but Jorden was very helpful! He updated me the whole time and was very polite and professional. Definitely recommend AAMCO!

I took our 2005 Ford Five hundred awd to this Aamco because it was giving a shift solenoid a code and was shutting the all wheel drive.they called me to tell me the transmission was bad and the control module on the rear axle was bad too.the cost was more than what i thought the car is worth, so i asked them to change the fluid in both the trans and the axle and to use ford parts cause of previous issues with aftermarket parts.i called several days later and they didnt have the filter yet, so i stopped at the dealer by me and ordered one on Thursday and got it Saturday morning but this Aamco dosnt have Saturday hours. Monday they called and said they had the filter but they pulled the plug to drain the trans and the fluid was clean and changing the filter would not fix it and the put the plug back in and topped it off and it was no charge on Wednesday. I told him that was fine and i would pick it up Friday and since they had the filter just throw it in the car and i would pay for it. He then told me that the filter that ford sent was wrong and they couldnt get the right one. I thought funny cause i did. I went Friday to pick up the car with all i needed to top off the trans if needed and went straight to the car to put the bucket in the trunk and the car was sitting there unlocked for at least 2 days.i went in to get the key came back out and started the car and as soon as i put it in reverse i could tell it was low on fluids.i pulled it in to the gas station next door and checked the fluid and nothing on the dipstick.i put 1 and 3/4 quarts in the trans and it put it just below full.i took my scanner and cleared the codes and have driven it 90 miles so far with no issue or lights. If they didnt want to look at the car thats fine but dont blow smoke up my A**

I called and told them about my check engine light on my Dodge Journey truck…. Went in and it took about 30-40 minutes for them to tell me I needed a tuneup. They ordered the parts on a Tuesday and I took my truck in that Friday and it took about an hour and my truck runs just like I bought it new off the showroom floor! Those guys are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely will take my truck back there if anything ever goes wrong with it again!

I scheduled an appointment with them but when I arrived they didn’t have my appointment scheduled. I told them my check engine light was on and the receptionist asked if I wanted them to do a full inspection or just pull the codes. I of course told him full inspection. When it came to my appointment they only actually pulled the codes instead of a full inspection, so I don’t actually know if there is a deeper issue with my car.

I went in to get my transmission check they said I needed a new transmission that was going to cost me $3,000 ends up it was my clutch fan I took it somewhere else I did not appreciate them telling me I needed a new transmission when it was just the clutch fan

Went in for a maintenance transmission fluid change and got out in 45 minutes. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back in the future! Thanks guys.

The staff were exceptionally nice. It took a bit longer to fix my mini cooperthan expected but this was due to the labor intensive essay of the transmission job. My car had to be taken apart. I asked 2 other shops to fix it before Aamco because I was unaware of Aamco. Those 2 shops refused the work because of the amount of time it would take to repair it. My son inlaw who Is a mechanic suggested Aamco and I am glad he did. I have had the car back for 2 days and it seems fine. I am pleased that I have a 12,000 mile or 1 year warranty in case of problems. The price was fair and considerably lower than the Mini Dealership. I recommend AAMCO highly. Total score 4.5

I had taken my car in for my air conditioner blowing hot air. Dorien and the mechanics were determined to fix it. Dorien did a great job working with the warranty company trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. I am a return customer and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Im just glade to say a bad situation turned into a good one having this mechanic shop AMMCO car care taking us in same day with traveling through town for 12 hours with 8 hours left to head home and our alternator went out and serpentine belt got wrapped up with alternator and every mechanic shop we called had availability 3 weeks out when we’re not from Wentzville, MO, and me and my family were heading back home back to Minnesota and glade when the front desk manager Dee and his crew guided us with assistance and convenience made our situation and blessed one and I tried to pay extra for everything and they didn’t want to except it, just giving us assistance was good enough and we’re much appreciated for them guys with pretty decent prices.

They gave me great customer service. They kept me informed the entire time my car was being serviced. They worked with my warranty company and helped me understand the process. Dorian helped me get a rental through my warranty company while I was waiting. They have earned my business for life! Can not recommend them enough!
