Academy Bank reviews
6I had one of the best customer service experiences ever with Paige. She was extremely helpful and was two steps ahead of every question and concern I had. She went above and beyond and resolved my issue. I’m very thankful, and highly recommend banking with Academy.
Amazing service and Andrea Austin was extremely helpful. Truly above and beyond
Aundrea Austin, I think she was very good and explained it to me very well
Been banking here for years I've became good friends with the staff members
Always have been there to help fast quick service. I love everything about them.
I have been with Academy for several years. I haven't had too many issues but for the issues I did have I felt that they shouldn't of happened. I've had times an amount over $500 was moved from account to the other for an $8 overdraft and held so I could not access it with out my permission. You have to pay $20 dispute payments or lose all tenor to start a new account. At the time i wanted to dispute a payment I could not start a new account because the account i have is no longer offered and i would of lost my tenure and lost my 1000 OD limit. Now I'm being advised that my overdraft limit changes daily. Ive had this account with a $1000 OD limit for years and only kept this account open for that fact in case its ever needed. Today I'm being told that this changes daily. Yes my account may overdraft before pay day however i always pay my fee's and have a current account. Customer service was no help and I'm not understanding how anyone can set up budgets when your bank is constantly changing the rules on you. Customer service agreed that they do not care if I am customer or not and ended the call. I will be leaving this bank after my next deposit. I need a bank that is constant and doesn't make new rules as we go.
