Acola Coffee Company, Columbia MO

Place seems nice enough, but the coffee is simply lacking.ordered an iced latte.tasted flat, monotone, like cold brew.not rich or full from espresso.thats fine, if i ordered a cold brew, but i did not.

Acola is a little coffee shop in Columbia, MO, but it is also so much more. I feel an incredible emotional response when I walk into this place. It is warm, life-giving, homey, and my soul is at peace with the natural lighting and plants as well as the wooden decor and many nooks/crannies I can find to hide away.

Don’t just take my word for it, look at the pictures below. Also, I highly recommend the pistacho latte with oat milk!

Great coffee and their pistachio-white chocolate scones are to die for! Usually scones are really dry, but their recipe is actually even better I got a London fog, never had it before, delicate and I enjoyed till the last drop. The atmosphere is chill, the place is really clean and the staff is friendly. I did not explore the whole place but I know there are plenty of seats. It reminded me of Northern European coffee places for their minimalist design.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. Lots of space with comfy seating, table space for eating or studying. Friendly and efficient service even in high traffic time.

I don’t pass through Columbia often, so the last time I was here it was smaller (while they were in the build process). It was excellent back then and it is still excellent. The shop has grown in size but the attention to detail remains the same! Ordered a pour over this time - which is not often offered at shops these days and even then, the chance it is done right is slim. Thats not the case here as it was done perfectly. The barista even warned the cup with hot water while brewing. Doesn’t get more professional than that. Well made coffee. You can tell that they actually care what they serve.

I love their coffee and atmosphere but just having one person making handcrafted coffees makes for a long wait. I arrived at 9: 15 am waited in line, placed order (staff were very polite BTW) but my latte wasn’t ready until 9: 50. No good place to stand and wait in the small pickup area. Busy place and needs additional baristas! I probably won’t go back; there’s other good coffee shops around CoMo that can serve more quickly.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The first place I've ever reviewed, and after coming here I ran to give it 5 stars. It's an amazing atmosphere!

Got an iced white chocolate latte. Pretty good definitely one of the top spots in CoMo for coffee!

First time here and I tried the Cardamom Latte. Absolutely amazing! Perfect balance of sweet & spicy Also the espresso is excellent.

This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever patronized. It has terrific atmosphere, with interesting architecture and a tun of wonderful seating throughout a very large space. The cortado was perfect and my wife's tea was carefully prepared and steeped to perfection. Price was quite reasonable, too.give it a try!

Their orange blossom muffins are AMAZING! The drinks are good too. I wish they made their own chai concentrate but they do a really good job at trying to make most of their items in house.

I just tried Acola coffee company and it was great! They were fast and very friendly.the coffee was exceptional, and they allowed me to bring in my service animal! I cant wait to go back when I have time to hang out while I have my coffee.

My cherry cheese hand pie was delicious as was the chocolate chip cookie. We enjoyed our cold brews too. The building is great with lots of seating and a wonderful rooftop area. The plants lining the sidewalk were gorgeous as were the bouquets on the wall inside. Wonderful place for coffee and a baked good!

Good coffee, good WiFi, good vibes! In Columbia for the day and needed a place to work, this fit the bill! It’s part coffee shop and part flower shop, in a renovated auto garage. Would definitely recommend!

Y'all this place is fantastic! Super friendly and relaxing environment. The people there are super nice and the coffee is so delicious
