Advantage 2000 Consultants reviews
9Rep changed 3 times in short time I worked with them. Very little communication and they didn't follow through with getting all my records which resulted in me being denied by ALJ. I Feel I was mislead as he referred to himself as a "disability lawyer" which he was NOT. DON'T WASTE TOUR TIME!
Terrible. Approved for long term disability by NYLIFE/Cigna, they strongly encouraged me to use Advantage 2000 for social security, no cost to me (bs), but they never returned my calls, or they’d return them a week later after a deadline had passed, so I ended up doing everything and filing myself. It’ll probably be denied but now I have a disability lawyer if that happens, so I called Advantage 2000 this morning and fired them, saying I don’t want their “help” which I never got anyway. If I have to pay for representation I’d rather pay a lawyer who I know isn’t scamming me. Reading online about Advantage 2000 was a real eye opener and I suggest anyone do that before using this supposed free service, all paid by NYLIFE/Cigna. No conflict of interest here! Yeah, right. Wanna buy a bridge?
"I was referred to Advantage 2000 by Cigna because they required that I file for Social Security disability in order to maintain my long term disability through my employer. Both Cigna and Advantage 2000 insisted that the service was already paid for on my behalf and that Advantage 2000 would help me through the application process for Social Security disability. Because of this, I completed all of the initial paperwork and entered into a contract with Advantage 2000 with Cigna having paid for their services. Fast forward several months and Cigna decides to close my case. I had yet to have my telephone appointment to actually finalize my social security disability application, but just a few days before that was supposed to happen I receive a call from Advantage 2000 informing me that Cigna decided to back out of their financing and leave me in the lurch, just like they did with my disability in the middle of a global pandemic and contrary to the advice of my medical team. Now, Advantage 2000 is in bed with Cigna doing the same thing to disenfranchise their customers during this pandemic. This should not be legal. Do. It trust Advantage 2000. Instead, find yourself an attorney who will do this for you on a contingency, which I understand is standard for social security disability claims. " THIS WAS 100% IDENTICAL TO MY EXPERIENCE. THESE PEOPLE ARE ***NOT*** TRYING TO HELP YOU. THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU TO LOSE YOUR SSI CLAIM SO THE LONG TERM DISABILITY COMPANY WHO SPONSORS THEM CAN STOP PAYING YOU THE MONEY YOU DESERVE!
Amazing company, they have always had answers even when I didn't know the questions.
Given that in the email that they sent me, they referred to me as Mr.instead of Miss or Ms. AND spelled my last name wrong, I feel certain that they are not legitimate.
I had my doubts about this organization when Cigna suggested them to help with my case. I thought i would eventually end up going with a disability lawyer but they followed up consistently and were great at explaining what to do and what to expect. My case was approved! They made a very scary situation for me so much less stressful. I never felt alone. THANK YOU ADVANTAGE 2000!

I found the company to be misleading. The rep wasn't forthcoming in explaining the full details of the company. Specifically the relationship between them, SSA and my insurance company.
Every conversation with my rep felt rushed and I never felt at ease nor did I feel prepared for my hearing! I asked my rep a question (a week before my hearing) and she had the nerve to tell me “ I can’t look through 300 pages of records right now! ” She also made me feel like she was missing paperwork bc “I didn’t give that information” but she later found it! She also barely spoke 10 words to me immediately before the hearing. In a nutshell, I should’ve went with my gut and had an attorney from the beginning.
