Affinia Health Center on Lemp Ave, St. Louis MO

Dr Elosiebo is a wonderful physician. She is very thorough and detail oriented. I felt well cared for under her care. Thank you to all the staff at Affinia on Lemp. The nurses are kind and thoughtful. I know this kind of work can get to a person but you wouldnt know it with them. Everyone keeps a smiling face, even thru the masks I can tell.

Very unprofessional I would not recommend I schedule an appointment they called and reschedule the appointment on the new schedule appointment I arrived and then was told I had no appointment for my child this is sad and unprofessional

️I have been seeing my current Doctor (Dr. Pachalla) at Affinia (Lemp location) for 3 years & a different Dr.prior to her, for about 6 mos, until he changed locations. I've also seen the Optometrist, the Chiropractor, a couple of Dental students (always with DDS supervision) & been to the Lab. As I am disabled, & require routine visits, I've been seen over 40x, in 4 years & have had a 100% "good to great experience", always treated kindly, & with care.
️Affinia turns no-one away. They charged based on a sliding scale (A VERY fair sliding scale), & they accept many types of insurance. For example:
*The LEAST I paid was $10, to see the Chiropractor, &
*The MOST I paid was $75, for Urgent Care/Dental.
️I no longer live in St. Louis, & aside from my friends, I actually miss Affinia.not just Dr. Pachalla (who is AWESOME, by the way.as is her Nurse, Ruther) but by Affinia staff, as well. From Receptionist to Scheduler- They were very good to me.
️For a "medical institution for the uninsured, under-insured, & low income". They should be modeled by EVERY major City in EVERY State!

I would give this health care Zero. The employees are so rude and disrespectful. I would never come to this place.

First time at Affina health center and front desk receptionist was not welcoming at all very rude and seemed bothered when we asked her where to go for our visit. Bad attitude and I would honestly not come back.

I have found that they are genuinely interested in the issues facing each individual. They are prompt and considerate about what patients are in need of, open to our own concerns and ready to help.

I was there for over 4hrs just to get a physical. All the people i interacted with acted as if they hated their lives and the fact that they had to work there so they took it out on everyone that walked in. Smh ill never go there again

Ridiculous! My baby just had a three day stay in children’s and this place won’t even call me back! It’s ridiculous that you basically have to go through a third party just to talk to someone in the office! This place is trying to make it so it takes two weeks to be seen by her doctor! Left a message with the woman that I got ahold of to have them call me back that it was urgent! That was at 9: 30 this morning. Here it is 1: 41 and I still haven’t gotten a call back!

Horrible place, good luck getting help from here, they'll charge you $100 dollars just to walk in.

This place is just all discombobulated, it stinks I didn't even make it to see anyone I couldn't take the smell. I walked out and went to the e.r.

Since they have become Athena healthcare they are crap, I went to Grace Hill without problems for couple years. Since the change to Athena you can't even go to the place without getting sick you walk in healthy and within two days your sick (and i never get sick so it has to be germy filthy) they need to disinfect the whole building. My prescriptions are never right they force you into withdraw symptoms because your doctors on vacation and the prescriptions are not renewed by the substitute doctors (twice in the last three months)

Athena is more interested in you being sick so you come more and have more tests to create revenue than helping people get better.i have been way worse lifewise since athena took over i wonder if my health might be better off just not even going there

The best people to interact with when your sick or concerned. They are professional and courteous. They are prompt and informative. I have experience neighborhood low income heath care most of my adult life, I feel respected here. That's important to me as a black person and grandmother.

It is all but impossible to get an emergency dental appointment.all they do is run you in circles.i would think they would be a lot more professional

I wish I could say more but I couldn't get a hold of human even after waiting for 20 mins on hold. I need to make appts for everything and couldn't. 20 mins ill never get back.

The worst place ever
I called yesterday and asked until they are doing test and I was told until 2 pm and that's what is says no their sheet also but I got here at 1: 46 and they wouldn't do it because she had too many of them done today so she stopped at 1: 30
I drove 45 mins left one of my classes just for them not to do it
I also explained that I can't come another day because I have full time job and full time school
So she says you have to! Coz I'm not doing it today.
So rude, unreasonable and unprofessional!

Great service the lady that does the registration in booth 4 is the best. Love the doctors there.

Absolutely worst health care place I've ever been to. First of all, I went due to a uti where I initially went to walgreens for. Due to me not having insurance at the time because I'm in the middle of changing, it was expensive so Walgreens recommended me coming here ti their Urgent Care. Biggest mistake ever. Never again. First of all, the person sitting at the front desk was on the phone in the middle of a conversation. Second, the lady who checked me in a urgent care was flat out rude. Then comes me with registration. I was told there would be a sliding scale since I don't have insurance. No. Not at all. My total was 8 bucks, even though I lived in the city. I had multiple sources of proof, but none cut it. No, my license id does not have my current address, but you don't have to get a new license id for about every ten years. And no, I don't have any amern bills with my address cause I pay my bills online. But I tried showing her on my phone, didn't cut it. Tried showing her my car insurance, didn't cut it. I thought you guys were supposed to be a social service agency? Hopefully I don't get kidney disease. Thanks again
