Affton Christian Church, St. Louis MO

This is a small but mighty church. The people here are very kind and generous, They do a lot to help out the Food Pantries, and other organizations that help people in need. The Pastor is inspiring and has a wonderful sense of humor. They are very welcoming and receive people no matter their color, gender identity, or whether they believe in God none of the time, some of the time or all of the time. If you are looking for a place to come and be with people who will accept you for who you are, not who they want you to become, try them out on Sunday's at 10: 15am. They have a hospitality time to meet and greet 30 minutes before the service starts. There is a nursery during the service and older kids can join in Kid's Konnection that takes place during part of the service right after Children's Chat. They learn about God and giving of themselves through discussion and activities with the dedicated and inventive Minister of Families, Youth and Children. They also have a very talented Music Director and cantor along with a choir that could always use more members if you are interested. I believe you would really like this church that is a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination.
