All American Campground and RV Park reviews
9 Bathrooms have probably never been cleaned, infested with large spiders, very little toilet paper tall grass, no upkeep at all.
Everything is disgusting and I am an outdoor girl.
Frankly I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I would not have stayed here for free!
Stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting family. Very quiet.easy on/off the highway. Most everyone else who came while I was there were just overnighters. I think if this campground was restored to what it once was it would be very nice. There is no one on site so must pay online. Just an hour to St. Joseph and a real cute little town called brownville just 5 miles away with a great winery.
We really liked this campground. Do not let the current Google Streetview fool you. This is an active ongoing business. When we visited here in May 2023 we almost missed it being a operating campground because there was a huge weekend flea market covering the front 2/3rds of the property. There was still plenty of RV sites available with hookups in the back of the property. We were sorry to hear tents are not currently allowed. Also although the facilities are good they could stand a refresh/remodel. The relatively new owners said the plan future improvements and maybe allow tents in the future. When this happens this should be a Goggle five star campground.
Rustic. No park personnel. Site was gravel, level and long. No women's showers. Bathrooms were old with cobwebs and bugs in sinks and toilets but toilets and sinks worked.
Turn around, don't camp here! Hard to find until you pass it and then have to find some place to turn around. No signage. Looks deserted, no office. Nobody was camped here when we arrived, now we know why. The site we were given had no electricity. Place is a dump next to a cornfield. We tried to contact someone using the number provided, but it is just a recording and you can't leave a message. We had to go find another RV camp. That was $45.00 we will never see.
**update**
Maybe this is not a scam I’m not too sure. They did refund my money but if you are a campground then maybe add some lights & a sign to your RV park esp since it down a dark road that is closed down! Only giving two stars since we did get our money back but I have been on the road for a year & have never had this issue! Be aware, if you go down at dark you will prob miss your turn bc they only have their driveway mark with a tiny red reflector, then have to try & figure out how to turn your camper around on a dead end 2 lane road… ADD LIGHTS OR SOMETHINGGGG.
This is a SCAM! Use to be an rv park now is just an open field but they are still taking peoples money! BC of this I am now having to sleep in a gas station Peking lot & they won’t answer their phone!
Received email confirmation of spot, arrived late and no information was posted in late-arrivals box. Bathrooms were dirty, make sure you bring your own toilet paper because the insects inside may have carried off the supplies. The pads are gravel and level which is one of the few pluses. The electricity does function, we didn’t hook up to the water, so read other reviews on that. The posts that hold the electric boxes are in a diminished state so hook up shore power with care. The pool isn’t operational, and only serves as a memory of a happier time for the ground. In short, as they have a monopoly on sites in this part of I29, there are few options, and no frills at this site, but, if you are looking for a level gravel pad, and a leaning electric post to hook up your shore power to, you won’t find another spot.
Traveling to the Black hills from southern Indiana, late in the day began a map search and found this hidden gem. Beautiful and clean little campground. There was one camper on a site when we arrived and looked some sites over. 4) 30 amp water, electric and sewer, several 50 amp water, elec and sewer. No one was around so we booked online, paid and settled in on site 14. Several sites in the back that look like we'll shaded electric and water. If you are self sufficient and looking for a great stop off for the night or the week you have to try All Amercan.
Very close to I29 and gas and convenient store.
Overnight stay on the trip home. It was late and this one was the only one close once we decided we had to stop for the night. May 2023, right before the season opened for most RV Parks. We used the web site to reserve a site- they called us to be sure we pick the right spot- we didn't- very nice folks, they got us booked in a good spot- They had been working on getting the bathrooms open but only the men's bathroom was available, since we were the only ones there I didn't mind, but there was no water available in the bathroom to wash your hands. The owner told us the story of this site was famous for being under water for over 2 years before they bought it. It was still recovering form the flood and only had the barest of amenities, we did get electricity and a bathroom. Our RV developed a problem with the water so we had no access to water while we were there, luckily I was prepared with wet wipes and Hand Sanitizer. As this is the beginning of the season I'm sure more will become available as they get everything up and running. They are nice and I felt good being there.
