AMC Barrywoods 24 reviews
33Great movie theater. Have always gone here. With everything going on, they do their best to keep families safe and a place to enjoy family time
Pretty good. Disappointed they can't figure out how to give us butter on popcorn though like at B & B theaters
Great theater to have a bite, a cocktail and catch the latest big show. Plenty of well lighted parking, other restaurants and shopping in walking distance.
Can't wait until movie going becomes part of out lives again! AMC theatres are clean and comfortable and their staff has always been friendly.
I've been a fan of AMC for years, yet they are struggling to come back within this pandemic. Refreshments were sub-standard, much to our surprise. Movie room was good and temperature was fine. Better patronize them asap.
This theater was totally trashed on Christmas Day. Seats were covered in melted butter, popcorn, and spilled soda. Concessions only had 2 registers open taking 30 minutes to get through. Bathrooms were dirty, out of toilet paper, and urine on the floor. Definitely not the way this theater used to be- not coming back here. Sticking with B&B Theatres.
It was very enjoyable. It would have been great if there were some kind of group food menus to choose from. But other than that we had a blast.
So glad a movie worth seeing was available! Croods 2. The kids and I will be seeing 3 this month!
Really comfy seats, good customer service, good food that can be pricey. I always drive the extra 20 minutes to make it here instead of going to other theaters around my house. They also have a really good rewards program and I suggest you try the A-List program so you can watch three movies a week for $20 a month.
Things have changed at the AMC Barrywoods 24 since I'd been there last. Really nice improvements. And Aquaman was pretty good! It surprised me. And he was nice on the eyes also!
You can't recline the seats all the way back. Put the seats back as far as they go but then you can't see the whole screen due to the wall. And the bathrooms were dirty.
I LOVE AMC Theatres! They have Coca-Cola, reserved seating for all screens and great popcorn! Concession prices do keep rising and I am a Stubs member and have been for years thankfully! I can't imagine not taking advantage of those points that add up and the discounts that are offered. I will always be an AMC girl!
Ok. I really regret my first reivew. Since we first ccame here, they added a system that makes you pick your seats before entering the theater and the issue with that is that it makes you split your family up into separate sections. This is horrible on their part, and if it does not get fixed I am probably not coming back to this theater. I hate to leave negative reviews like this, but I really cant stand this system.
Clean theater, but seats in the regular theaters are extremely small. If you have broad shoulders and/or big hips, it's a bit uncomfortable. I ranked a two star because if you are not comfortable during the movie, then you can't enjoy it completely.
They are making you select your seats now at the ticket window. Slows the line tremendously, screens hard to read, and generally ridiculous.
Long weekend concession lines, but happy to see some of the theatres finally being renovated and remodeled. We've seen movies at AMC Barrywoods 24 nearly every weekend since we saw Titanic there "opening night" in 1997, and the theater (as a whole) is in dire need of an update. Many of the other AMC's have had a facelift already. It's time for the Northland AMC to get its turn! Only the main lobby theaters (i.e. Dolby, IMAX, and Prime) have been updated.
This would be 5 stars, but their prices are just so high. Other than that we had a good time and a great experience.
Loved the new concession stands but the place is showing its age snd the off duty cops are to busy flirting with the help to actually care about whats going on.
Didn't like choosing seats during matinee, especially when it wasn't even half full. We thought we chose a different section. I did like how the concession changed.
I do not like any of the changes they have made or the A-list status and the long lines to have to wait in just to get to the food register surrounded by merchandise- conveniently. Since when do I need to buy toys at the movie theater? This is part of why we don't go here. Such a hassel. Ridiculous outcasting of non A listers. No thanks.
