15The movie was really good. But I don't suggest paying over $20 for a Coke and popcorn. That is a rip off
I really liked the movie Wonka at the AMC; I took my daughter and her little friend. The ventilation in the auditorium sucked because it smelt like a room of full baby diapers because it was a pg rated film so I'll have to plan better next time and bring a scented mask. Besides the over priced food and somewhat stinky vibes, I definitely liked the reclining seats and the over all experience of the show
I hadn't been in a while.everybody was very polite and helpful, theatre was clean and the restrooms were cleanness as well.great job!
This is the place where Gypsy Rose Blanchard lost her virginity. Make this a national landmark.
Best place to see a movie! We go all the time, are AMC plus members (very worth it), and they deliver your food to your seat so NO standing in line and our order has always been perfect. The regular theaters have great reclining seats, it's always VERY clean, and IMax is amazing.
This theater is the most popular theater that I go to because of the seats the food the prices and the good company.
Our theater was a mess. Popcorn and soda spilled everywhere. Sticky and unclean seats. Tried to contact through the Contact Us tab on the website to communicate. That doesn’t work either. It won’t recognize the theater in Springfield. We won’t be back unless changes are made. Unfortunate.
Wife said popcorn did not taste just right. Movie was good. We choiced the wrong seats they were too close
So glad this theater maintained and got back on track after COVID!
They've kind of rearranged things.
Service was easy. Getting checked in and still love the IMAX portion of that AMC!
We love the AMC Springfield. The seats are super comfortable, and the theater is always clean. The caramel popcorn is so good as is the regular popcorn. Regular popcorn can be refilled once and the drinks are unlimited refills. We also love the slushy machine. When you book online you can also have them have your order ready and you can pick it up on your way into the theater.
We went to the theater today (labor day) and it was absolutely ridiculously cold! I wanted to ask for my money back
My reclining chair was broken, but usher gave some "pass" so I could sit in a functional seat. Only one soap dispenser in women's restroom had soap, and only 1 towel dispenser had towels, was glad to have a little of each, just sure made a hectic restroom that much more crazy with ladies zig zagging every which way, several sinks hardly had any water pressure at all.so washing hands was a pretty major challenge. Everything else was great.guess the facilities just seemed a bit rundown. Super glad folks are getting back out to the theaters, they've had a rough few years!
I've never encountered a business so difficult to give my money to. The website needs fixed so you can actually purchase tickets, have this same problem every single time.
Went last week (mid-august) to see Oppenheimer. The lobby was overly hot with no air movement. Concession prices are ridiculous. But, once we got seated, the theater was nice and cool, and we enjoyed the movie very much. Liked the power recliner chairs!
Went to the AMC 11 for an afternoon movie. I had been going to the competition but tried AMC today. Not impressed at all.
Some of their theaters have the reclining seats and some have the larger or imax screens. (All the screens at the competitor are the larger screens and have better sound systems. The reclining seats were noisy, not that big of a deal. The position of the reclining was further back and wasn't as comfortable when putting my legs all the way up. Again, not a big deal.
The food is where the biggest difference is. The competition offers snacks as well as full meals, burgers, cashew chicken, pizza, club sandwiches, Philly sandwiches and etc.
The AMC offers popcorn, hotdogs, candy and chicken strips. The AMC prices are way higher. Plain hotdog 7 bucks? !? Pretzel and a drink 14? A drink and what amounts to about 1 slice of pizza chopped smaller. 15 bucks? !? C'mon!
Both places offer refills on drinks and popcorn. The competitor is unlimited, AMC is 1 refill.
I wouldn't recommend AMC and I can't see why I would return as the competition wins on everything.
AMC bathrooms were not the cleanest either.
