American Legion Post 58, Smithville MO

Always get taken good care of here at the Legion. The bingo night was great fun, lasting most of the night versus just an early couple hours like most places.

Such a fun Mardi Gras theme with crawdad/shrimp boil and other New Orleans favorites. Ourplates were piled high for only $20! The band, All Star, was entertaining and the help was friendly and attentive! Can't beat our local American Legion for a good time at a great price!

Like Cheers.it's a place to hang out where no one stays a stranger for long. Thursday fried chicken with mashed potatoes and greens and Tuesdays Pork Tenderloins are delicious and onecserving is plenty for two!

Staff was very rude especially the manager, they only support regulars, would not recommend new customers to this bar, I would recommend going to northland bar/grill establishments for better service/food/and drinks

I was invited to watch my friend acting in a play being held here.

Not sure how they typically host events at this venue, as it my first visit.
The ticket included a "dinner" of sorts and had servers waiting for you to let them know your options. They wore gloves and cutlery sets individually wrapped.
The food could have been warmer.

When the show started, there were overhead fans blowing quite strongly down into the tables and for us that didn't like that, we had to just deal with it.
The noise from the kitchen was ridiculous, even with their doors closed they're pretty loud in there. From running kitchen machinery to voices loud and clear talking and laughing.

If you're going to watch a show here, sit at the front, trust me:)!

Overall a decent dinner, decent venue and show all in one. Good for families, groups of friends etc

The dood was really good-fish and tater tots! Had a lot of fun at Lushes with Brushes event!

A friend and I decided to check this place out for the $1.25 Taco Wednesday and pitcher Margaritas. 1 pitcher (plastic in a bud light plastic draft pitcher full of ice) and 10 tacos which both were good but only equaled 2 small margaritas each and came to $32 before tip so $40 or $20 for each of us. I thought was a bit high for an American legion hall.

Had there wings and they are huge. Joe cooked them perfectly. Hope was an awesome bar tender.

Great prices and awesome food. Everyone is friendly and the staff, kitchen and waitresses are very good. Come and enjoy this place.

Just a good ole hometown establishment. Great place for a good burger and a cold beer. Daily specials as well.

Had an absolute fun time, the musical bingo was a blast. The food was really good and the drinks were Perfect. The only problem was that they didn't have enough people working there.

Food was great. Prices very reasonable. It is not high end dining or atmosphere, but you don't expect that at an American Legion Post. The volunteers running the kitchen and bar that night were AWESOME.

Staff did a great job handling the large number of people and bikes for the Know Norm Run.
