DO NOT GO HERE. They tried to scam me into paying $100 so that the eye exam they said was free was "free" plus, after I explained how misleading their advertising was, the customer service was TERRIBLE

Terrible. Two times in a row their office cancelled our eye exam on short notice. Today was cancelled with less than an hour's notice. I've been going there for years but apparently this office is badly run and doesn't care. Never going back to America's Best, time to find a real eye doctor.

We went in to this location for a contact appointment for my 13 year old daughter who has never had contacts before. She was very nervous. The assistant manager Becky, was amazing and super helpful. She helped calm her nerves and gave us a short demonstration full of helpful info. Right before my daughter was about to try to get them in for the first time, the manager, Arthur, came in and talked to the assistant manager in the rudest way and scolded her in front of us about how long she was taking with us. It was completely unprofessional, unnecessary and rude. He didn't introduce himself to us, abruptly took over the appointment and sent the assistant manager away, gave a 5 min speech to us about how to put them in even though we had just been given that info from the assistant manager and then he disappeared without offering any other guidance. My daughters nerves returned at such a rude encounter from this man. We were left with no guidance during the rest of our scheduled appointment. My daughter tried over and over again to get them in but since no one was helping her, she didn't know what she was doing wrong. She was almost in tears. She ended up not being able to get them in and we had to reschedule because they would only allow us to be in there for one hour even though they left us alone for half of that time. I know she would have been able to get them in with guidance and if the assistant manager had been allowed to finish her appointment with us. This was a very negative experience and it didn't have to be. The main manager should create a welcoming and professional environment for his customers and employees, not one of stress and rudeness.

Why would any place give a new contact wearer literally one set of contacts as a trial? They know you have had one lesson and still a little butterfingers with them! Yea waited 2 plus weeks for my trail.wore them one time and second attempt at putting them in dropped one.no where to be found obviously I can’t see without them! Now I have to wait another week or more for a replacement.just RIDICULOUS.
I did express this concern before leaving my appointment and was told to call if I had an emergency.what good is that!

Really disappointed. Terrible service. Our family won’t be back. Now I understand all the bad reviews.

After vision works misinformed me by telling me they accepted my insurance, when they in fact did not, I was recommended to America's Best. The name has held true for myself. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day after Vision Works turned me away. After coming in, I was immediately greeted by the staff in a friendly manner. By the time I had finished my paperwork, they were ready to see me! The entire time the staff made me feel beyond comfortable and were extremely tailoring when it came to finding the best (and cheapest) way to purchase frames & lenses. Offered great deals, and I recommend their Eye care memberships as well.

Long wait, untrained staff, extremely poor and either lazy or untrained front-end management. I was in shock when I asked a "manager" for her manager and someone from the back was actually there and came out. He was great and fixed everything, although it took a long time from what appears to be the normal issues of operating a budget business.
It did appear there were new and inexperienced staff, maybe they are trying to improve from what appears to be a history of service issues. But they either need to re-train or hire new replacements for the people who are truly running the front but don't know how to do their job, and those people certainly shouldn't be training the new staff.
If it wasn't for one front-desk guy and the back manager, we would've left. Those guys need to put their resume's out and move on up!

My hats off to the employees at this office. I have no idea how you handle the shear insanity in the office. Given the circumstances of the clients in your office you all do an exceedingly good job and I’m sure do not get paid near enough for the work you do.

I used to buy contact lenses and eyeglasses for myself and my family at this cheapo discount eyeglasses store. Their customer loyalty in my book stinks. I bought a pair of prescription sunglasses, Ray-Bans and was pleased with them until the lenses started cracking. Their were fine horizontal cracks in both lenses and they were just over a year old. I took them back expecting them to say we'll get another set of lenses made, no charge. Glasses you pay over $200 for should last more than a year. The gas station sunglasses are better quality! Their response was basically too bad, so sad, tough break, but you'll have to by some new ones. The cost for this company for just lenses can't be more than $5. I walked out and I'll never go back there.

Everyone was really nice and helpful. My contacts are perfect. I didn't feel pressured or anything to get glasses. However I am going back to get glasses.so cute!

This was my first time ever at any eyeglass place. I've never had to wear glasses before, but my vision seems to have gotten worse. The office was busy, but I had an appointment and didn't have to wait long at all. The staff was very nice and professional. I loved the gentleman who put my eyeglass order in. He saved me $125 just with having me go with a cheaper eye glass lense instead of the most expensive one the dr was recommending. Good first experience! Thanks!

Mark really treated my 7year old with patient yet efficient customer service. I almost felt like I was in a store where being a repeat customer was valued. We live closer to similar companies, but take a highway trip to this store for the service. I wish I could remember the other gentleman that appears to be the expert in frame repair/adjustment because he is very helpful as well.

I've been going to America's Best for several years. The staff is always nice and helpful. My experience with the doctors has been wonderful. They all take their time and answer all questions. If I could change anything, it would be that the wait times can be a little long, but it's not enough to make me look elsewhere.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! NOW WILL BE WAITING 4 WEEKS FOR NEW GLASSES, AS LONG AS THEY ACTUALLY ORDERED THIS TIME! I was very pleased with customer service until I broke my glasses and needed new. Called 2 weeks after contacting and they never ordered replacement glasses. They were to contact me back with info on rush order and no communication from them again!

I have been a patient for the past 25 years; I called today because my prescription has changed drastically in the past 60 days. I called today to see if the store would work with me because I just dropped $400;2 months ago and they stated that they could not work with me. So much for customer service - you lost me as a patient and as a referral.

I have been going to Americas Best for a couple years now and it is really the best! I have been to been to many different places (Clarkson, target, Wal-Mart) and hated them all. The staff are great and very friendly!

What a waste of $45.an incorrect prescription and inhospitable environment. I waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment before I saw the optometrist, during which time no one seemed to care to talk to me at all and let me know what was going on.

I perhaps mistakenly said that I wasn't going to purchase glasses there (zenni optical is so much cheaper) and the front desk seemed taken aback. During the exam he mentioned that since my vison is so bad, the accuracy of the prescription didn't matter as much as if it was only -1 or -1.5. He saw me for only about 2 minutes. I walked out with a prescription that is slightly less strong in one eye than my last one (ikno checked when I got home) which I know is wrong.

I get an exam and glasses every year (sadly my vision still gets worse even though I'm 29) and am taking my business elsewhere. I've tried so many places and can't find good optometry places.sigh.
