18The wait wasn't long, from arrival to departure was right at 60 min. They've added more staff as previously the wait was > 2hrs start to finish. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Dr listened well and was very attentive to how the exam was performed. Overall it appears they have worked out their staffing issues.
Riley was awesome. Everyone was very patient with my picky ways. The nicest eye doctor I have ever used.
Store doesn't close at 7 pm it closes at 5 p.m. Very inconvenient for people who work 9 to 5
I’ve come here for years but recently my service has been awful. I booked an appointment here weeks ago and went up for the appointment. They informed me that they didn’t have enough eye doctors in and couldn’t service me and wouldn’t be able to book another appointment for another couple months. Horrible way to do business. Thumbs down
Riley the optician went completely above and beyond to help my mom find the pair she wanted. He called several other stores trying to find a discontinued pair, waited on hold on many times over, and eventually worked through a few different alternative options to ultimately get her the pair she really really wanted. All the while he was extremely sweet and professional! Riley deserves a promotion and/or raise!
Let me start by saying the ophthalmologist was amazing! BUT my most recent visit was less than ideal. My prescription was messed up. I had to send my glasses back multiple times. It took me a little over two months to get my second pair of glasses back. I was not happy with the visit that I had. I was more than patient as well.
I have used America's Best here in Lee's Summit for several cycles of new glasses and, to be honest, did experience the "wait" that some here are referring to. But that's only in comparison to how it was 5 years ago! In reality, waiting for an hour or two to insure I get the right glasses for the next 3-4 years is ridiculously easy for me to understand and endure! And beyond that, "I" made a mistake when selecting my prescription sunglasses and when I asked for them to be corrected, they did so cheerfully, professionally and at "their" expense, not mine! THAT'S WHAT I CALL FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you!
My wife and I have been going here for years, and have had 4 to 5 star service. Things have changed. The staff on the front half of the store seems lost and or clueless. The exam was brief, personal, and I have no complaints. The exact same pair of glasses I purchased last year would have cost me $120 more this year. Insurance coverage is down, and costs are up!
I have been coming here since I was a child and I absolutely love them! The lens quality is the best that I can find and the customer service is phenomenal!
Walked in for a eye exam.keep in mind I'm 37 and never had a wear glasses, all staff was friendly and amazing, the doctor told me I need glasses.he comforted me and said at my age it's normal we start getting older and losing our eye sight, and when going to check out the guy who helped with purchasing my glasses helped me stay in my budget and was able to help me with any questions, so my hat goes off to this location:)
Labor market might be negatively impacting this location. I scheduled an initial appt, waited an hour, and ended up walking out. This location had a strong oder and had noticeably dirty equipment
I've been going here for many years, but recently.come prepared to be here a few hours.only one lady checking everyone out.so if it's 5 people in front of you she will be 20min with each one, this is after you've seen the doctor and the other lady. I UNDERSTAND short staffed but don't OVERBOOK clients. I've had to come three different times this week because of new contacts and appointments they book for the class.and yeah waited long everytime
Had my eyes checked and ordered glasses. It was very crowded. Employees were professional. Frame selection was pretty good.
Friendly and accommodating staff, everyone served delightful and infectious smiles today. My appointment was easy but I got to overhear really thoughtful and compassionate assistance with others who needed more help.
So poorly managed. I had to write my social down for them because they were having a hard time typing in my insurance information. Then they lost the paper. They left, and I waited 20 minutes for someone to come back and they never did. I also did not get to have my appointment. Other poor people were waiting to get prescriptions and everything while I was in there and the line still hadn't moved when I gave up and left.
Such incompetent staff, horribly managed.
Every time I have a made an appointment here it has taken anywhere from 2-4 hours for a checkup. A CHECKUP. That's outrageous. One of the times I came to the store they were so overscheduled it took hours upon hours to do an appointment that took 10 minutes total. I'm deeply dissapointed in the service and management.
Called in asking if I could buy/pick up a pair of trial contacts to last me until my new contacts come in. I told her my eyes are hurting and I can't see without them. I was told they don't do that. I even offered to pay for a pair. They do not care about there customers well being. Terrible office, horrible customer service. I will be going elsewhere for frames. Do not go here.
I had an appointment with this store I had made 2 weeks in advance. I left work for my appointment and once there, was told my appointment had been cancelled. The lady let me know several customers have let them know their appointments had been cancelled, but no one had called them. I feel if several people have told you this, maybe reach out to upcoming appointments and make sure notifications were made. She then told me I can be a walk in. If they can't keep actual set appointments, what are the odds they can take a walk in? I do not recommend this location. It will be a waste of time.
