WOW WOW WOW. What can I say about this AMAZING museum! First off, if you don't know or aren't sure if the cave tour & museum are worth it - THEY ARE. It's only $90 I think or $100 for 2 people (including parking) if you purchase online, and what you get is incredible for the price in Branson. Compared to other museums.ahem Titanic museum.this is well worth the extra $10 or $20 you might spend per person. It took us about 3-4 hours total between the cave and nature trail & the museum & the gift shop, although it could take even longer since we kinda went fast on the trail. The museum is really really cool and was the longest part of the experience, the artifacts they have are impressive and it's super interesting to learn about all the history of the region. Probably my favorite thing that I did while in Branson and would definitely do it again!

If you go to either restaurant, make sure to bring a thick wallet, excellent food, not cheap

Much bigger than I expected! Had no idea this was part of the Bass Pro Shops empire. It calls itself a natural history museum and there were some taxidermied animals and archaeological skeletons, but 90% of the collection is Native American artifacts and Americana/historical items, most specifically military history. It's very accessible, the collection all being on one floor and the building having an elevator. The parking is a pain, involving huge lots all very far apart with shuttles. Not good for a quick trip, but a great way to spend a leisurely day whilst on vacation. I think we spent over 2 hours in the museum itself and then factor in time to wander around outside looking at the gorgeous landscape and the rest of Big Cedar Lodge, plus time waiting for and riding on shuttles to the parking lot. They do have valet parking that's closer and available for free as handicap parking.

This museum was incredible! The shuttle will take you to and from the museum. The staff was very polite and helpful. There are so many artifacts and so much history to see here! Would highly recommend!

Nice place to visit. Mostly Native American items. Well air-conditioned. Takes a good hour or so.

One of the best museums we have enjoyed. Beautiful and expansive, there were so many amazing artifacts. The guides, throughout the building were educated, helpful and happy to answer questions. Great museum, don't miss it when you're here. Great thing to do after the lost cave tour. Time it right and end your museum tour just before 4pm to enjoy food and view at the Buffalo Bar.

This museum was more than you would think. There is a large collection of native American and early US historical items here. It took us about 2 hours to go through, but we didn't read everything. Some of the information may be a bit dry for kids.

Admission to the museum is included with The Lost Canyon tour, where a free shuttle will ferry you back and forth between here and the visitor centre. Parking is limited here, so the shuttle is your best bet.

To access the church, you'll need wait until 4pm when the restaurant's lift opens, and you take floor 1, exiting through the wine cellar to access the pathway.

The museum has a number of prehistoric exhibits on display, as well as native displays. Not my cup of tea, but history buffs will enjoy it, as will parents wanting some peace from their kids.

I enjoyed this experience thoroughly. There were so many things to learn and the amount of items excavated were incredible. I would definitely recommend to go ahead and stop in if you are thinking about it!

I wanted to give a rave review to your beautiful museum, full of amazing artifacts! Each one truly is a treasure to behold. But that’s not why I’m posting the review. Charlie is the security staff member on duty during our visit. Not only was he friendly and helpful, but his stories were entertaining and he was passionate about the end of day ceremony, expressing our need to return and witness the spectacular event. He was truly a pleasure to speak with.

Our visit here coincided with the golf cart tour on site. The entry here was included with that tour. The museum was great. It covers a lot of Indian items. It then visits the Civil and Revolutionary wars. There are prehistoric animal bones throughout. Tip: by tickets online a day or more to save money.

A lot of time went into building and arranging this museum. Will be back, great place to spend some vacation time.
