We met Angela while touring an open house. The professionalism she showed, and knowledge of the area ultimately led us to dump our current realtor and switch to her. Our first realtor wasted our time showing a lot of houses that in no way fit the bill, and often had eye-sores in close proximity that we didn’t want to have to pass everyday going home. Angela really listened to our needs and wants, and showed us a lot of homes that showed she was really listening. She even talked us out of putting an offer on a home because she could tell we weren’t really excited about it. THANK GOD! After showing us a zillion homes and never making us feel like we were being too “picky”, she called me one morning at 8am to tell me about a house that just hit the market. She said she had a strong feeling we were going to want to put in a contract and was going to bring paperwork so we could get an offer in ASAP if we wanted. She got us in to see it within an hour, and it was perfect. We put in an offer within an hour of seeing it, and she even convinced the listing agent to let us go back real quick before the next appointment showed up, so we could take a quick second look to make sure we felt confident about our decision. Due to her smart negotiating, despite receiving multiple offers, they accepted ours. Then, during the inspection process, she didn’t let the owners push back on us and negotiated a solid deal for home repairs that left only a couple of minor things behind that we could handle ourselves. Her attention to detail, determination, negotiating skills, and knowledge of the area found us the perfect home. (Oh and one time I called her about a home I found on Zillow and she said “I think you’re going to like the home, but dislike the feel of the neighborhood. Drive on over, and if you like it and want to see it I will be right there to show it to you”. Well, she was right, not only did we not like the way the neighborhood was set up, it had one of those electrical centers set up nearby that we had no interest in living near.) Angela is experienced, organized, extremely proactive, will honestly tell you if she thinks a house is going to be more trouble than you might realize so you can make a fully informed decision, and a solid negotiator. I enjoyed my experience with her so much, that I’ve actually kept in touch with her over the years and even reached out to her with some questions regarding an appraisal we received during a refinance we did years later. She took my call and shared her insight and experience and seemed more than happy to answer my questions. In my opinion, she has the work ethic, the drive, and all the skills you could ask for in a realtor. Definitely worth a quick meet and great to decide for yourself. (I also never felt rushed by her. Which I feel like a lot of realtors are guilty of)

The experience we had with Angela during the journey of buying our first home, was so ideal. We couldn’t have asked for a better Realtor. There was so much to be thankful for: Angela was honest, communicative, personable, and just overwhelmingly more than what we hoped for. We have been so impressed with her knowledge and experience with selling our family home of 13+ years to building New construction.   Angela was able to navigate through all of the decisions that need to be made before listing. I cannot stop singing the praises of our realtor Angela Lockette. Her level of professionalism can't be beat. My husband actually found her when we were casually looking, but not quite ready to buy. We wanted to get an idea of what was on the market that was in our price range. Angela was the listing agent on a property and we scheduled a viewing. The house ended up not being what we really wanted, but she took our information and told us she would send listings that met our criteria. She then began to send us property listings. We didn't want a realtor that was going to constantly call us and pressure us to look at properties in an attempt to get a sale. We let her know that we would reach out to her if any of the properties piqued our interest. Angela must have sent us a hundred or more properties over a year, none of which were quite right. However, Angela was not deterred and continued to send us listings that met our criteria despite the fact we really weren't responsive. Then a house hit the market that was perfect!
We went to see the property during an open house where there were a lot of individuals in attendance. We knew that there would be stiff competition, but we wanted to submit an offer anyway. Angela gave us excellent advice on how we should submit our offer. We personalized our offer with a note to the owner and beat the competition! We  won the contract! Angela held our hands through the entire process and steered us in the right direction in all phases of the home purchase. We found her to be professional, trustworthy, and resourceful.
It's been 4 years and Angela periodically reaches out to us and stays in touch with holiday greetings and acknowledgement of milestones we post on social media. I highly recommend Angela to anyone looking to buy or sell their home!

We purchased our house in January 2016. We went through many ups and downs throughout the entire process of buying our home and all along the way Angela’s positive attitude and professionalism was outstanding! Angela is by far the BEST realtor! She’s super attentive and thoughtful, helped with staging and photos, and sold our house in a weekend!
