Anita Cafe and Bar reviews
13Food was great and the owner was awesome and very engaging with customers. I will definitely go back.
Based on reviews, we chose to come here earlier this month to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wow! This is one case when all the reviewers are spot on. Everything was PERFECT. We look forward to coming again. Anita, thank you for creating such a special oasis in Midtown.
Fantastic food, drinks and atmosphere. I usually don't go in for toasts but these are exceptional. Don't skip the coffee.
Nice airy atmosphere. High ceilings. Clean colors. Good Lebanese breakfast and lunch dishes. Cocktail menu and coffees. The bathroom is spotless. The server / owner was very friendly. Recommend.
Anita's is a great atmospheric environment! Live plants, clean, beautiful, simple decor, huge windows, chandeliers, really cute chairs and tables. Oh and the food & drinks were amazing!
Now I must be honest to say of the 3 things we ordered 1 was not up to par. I can understand being out of something but informing the customer of substitution prior to should be communicated. Batata w bayd that we ordered was not in accordance to the menu description.
The other components of our meal were flavorful and top notch! Zaatar toast was bursting with flavor and the sourdough held it all together with the needed crunch!
Drinks.yes I went at 9am but don't judge me I had a cocktail and the Krystal was refreshing and a wonderful compliment to my meal. Think sassy mimosas!
Ok now in my humble opinion I can totally see this place getting the best sophisticated nite life! I can see it with poetry events, business meet and greets, birthday parties, wine tastings, "brunch and business cards" aka networking event, etc. However, I'm not sure if they are open for events but they should to showcase this lovely space.
I love the place and the critique is only due to the desire of success!
We had a great breakfast at Anita Cafe & Bar! Anita was so kind and we really enjoyed chatting with her during our visit. She even let two kids sitting near us decorate the restaurant’s chalkboard for fun while they dined. The cafe was spacious and beautifully decorated and we could tell every little detail was intentionally selected and really added to the experience. The coffee menu was classic offerings and it was our first experience with Turkish coffee, the cappuccino was great and didn’t need sweetener, the coffee was great on its own. The food was SPECTACULAR - I got the picnic blanket toast and my husband got the rosehip oatmeal. Will definitely plan to be back and to try a happy hour, thanks for the hospitality Anita!
Some of the best food in St. Louis! High quality service and amazing food - nowhere else compares!
This place is the BEST! It is unlike anything we’ve ever had in STL and everything I have tried on the menu so far I have loved. Anita has put her creativity, style, and heart into every aspect of this space and it shows. Cannot recommend enough!
This new and AWESOME cocktail and appetizer bar exudes class and sophistication. From the elegant décor to the carefully crafted libations and delectable small plates, it's a refined oasis. A must-visit for those seeking a chic and upscale experience. Cheers to a tasteful delight!
The food is amazing! Fresh and delicious! The best Hummus I have ever had! Drinks so flavorful!
OMGG new brunch spot.anitas cafe and bar is SO cute the interior is stunning, the staff is insanely helpful and sweet. Anita herself came out and made sure we were enjoying ourselves! She was so sweet. We ordered the rose latte 10/10 it tasted so fresh and the espresso wasn’t bitter. I got the rose hip oatmeal which was AMAZINGGG it was so yummy I’m obsessed. Also pictured is the berries and cream, the fatteh, and the avocado toast. I didn’t try the others but my friends were raving about it. Definitely coming back for cocktails! Worth checking out for sure:)
Amazing spot to grab food or drinks (or both!) with friends. The presentation was phenomenal and it’s safe to say the food tasted exactly how it looked (). You should definitely check it out! Say hi to Anita she’s the sweetie pie and a creative genius behind this place!
Anita Cafe has been hosting pop-ups while their new location is under construction next door. Hands down, the most DAZZLING and flavorful avocado toast I’ve ever imagined. The local coffee is earthy and full and the spritzers are so fun! I’d recommend to anyone wanting to escape their mundane coffee shop and have a truly inviting experience around Anita’s table.
