Horrible building. If I could give this building negative stars I would. Former Engagement Director, my time here was horrible the onboarding process, welcoming, my first check got returned over 5 times, the hire family members and just unprofessional all the way around. You have friends in the business office, Emily, BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER, messes with checks and scheduling and they protect themselves by any means necessary. SHERRY, ED, is new to her position and needs some guidance and a back bone. DREA, MARKETING DIRECTOR puts in false reviews to make the building look good. Care for the members are horrible. Looks are deceiving. I know the truth about this building. I have done my job in multiple states and this has been the worst building I’ve ever been too in the 10 years of my NURSING/ ENGAGEMENT career. I do not recommend this building at all. Unfortunately this building literally sucked my passion away in 35 days due to how members are treated and I just couldn’t do it anymore. This building has lost the true meaning of “CARING FOR OUR ELDERS”

Clayton View is a beautiful community. The environment is friendly, warm and comfortable. It is in a great location by the Galleria Mall. They have several nurses that are very knowledgeable and their care staff is wonderful. I highly recommend checking them out for your loved ones. I like that there is Assisted Living and Memory Care as well.

My father was a resident here from April 20th to May 14th 2021. I am so disappointed in this facility in what they describe as "Care". He was in the Memory Care unit and can not speak for himself. Our family took time to visit him several times a week, and it was noted several times he was neglected.soiled and not changed, not bathed, not checked on for several hours, not given scheduled meds, (which are so important), not given meals and when I asked about these things I was given excuse after excuse. The staff did not perform basic duties. The Executive Director told me we are over reacting, and these kinds of things happen all the time. Well its not OK for my family. If you are considering Anthology please look elsewhere - they DO NOT have your loved ones best interest.

This is one of the most beautiful senior living communities that I have ever walked into and the location couldn't be better. We are so close to all of the shops/restaurants in Brentwood and it is right off the highway to allow for quick access for visitors. The apartments come in a wide range of options and its nice that we serve both assisted living and memory care populations. Food is created by our phenomenal, experienced, chef and the menu changes regularly so you never get tired of those delicious eats. Not to mention the staff that work here are so passionate about what they do. I couldn't ask for a better community to work for!

My family and I found ourselves in a heartbreaking and urgent predicament. My father was to be discharged from a short-term rehab facility in less than 48 hours. The assisted living facility he was supposed to move into decided to deny him at the last minute because they felt he had too many medical problems. We found ourselves without a place for my father at 5: 00 p.m. On a Monday. I only mention the time because usually 5: 00 p.m. Marks the end of a business day for many companies. In a panic, I emailed Anthology in Brentwood along with many other facilities. In less than an hour, I received a phone call from Jean in Admissions. She was the only person who called me that night. I expected that she would give me information over the phone, and we would set up a time to tour the facility the next day. But that was not the case! She invited us to Anthology even though the sun had already set. When we arrived, she was patient, kind, and understanding and helped us all become a little less frazzled and panicky. She gave us a lovely tour of the beautiful facility and brainstormed various options for my father, including arranging a respite stay for him while we collected our bearings and figured out a long-term plan. She was the calm that slowed the storm and allowed us to breathe. We are so thankful that Jean picked up the phone and rang us on that horrible Monday night. She is truly a gem to a beautiful community-a place where residents are respected, safe, and loved (and fed heartily!). If you are in need of an assisted living facility for your loved one, please consider Anthology. I don't think you will be disappointed!:)

A senior living community that provides a kind and caring atmosphere for residents and staff members alike. The days are filled with exciting activities and there are always lots of options for everyone’s enjoyment. A cozy movie theater, a peaceful library filled with great books, fun games, and outings to a variety of attractions all around the St Louis area just to name a few. There’s literally something for everyone to enjoy here.

The Memory Care experience was disappointing and fell incrediblt short on personal attention, communication and managing expectations. During the 4 months of my mom's stay, the medical director was out of town when we moved my mom in and no one was there to provide an orientation and explain the process. The same director was out of town again one month later when my mom had an eye infection and after several unreturned calls and messages, when I visited her, she still had not been seen by a doctor or treated for the infection. My mom was not bathed regularly (if at all) and she suffered intense UTI's that never improved after given medication. When I picked up my mom for Thanksgiving, she was unbathed, dresssed in a ratty track suit with a fully wet depends. My mom spent 4 visits to the ER after hard falls (which I was promised they would give her extra addition to avoid), again, the director was out of town (or out of contact) for most of these and no one was put in place to take over management during those times. My mom's file indiciated Mercy as her preferred hospital, yet the last two ER trips were to St. Mary's and SLU hospital (again lack of organizational process). The on-site doctor supposedly comes once a month, doesn't see all residents and doesn't give a full examination or communicate with the families on her progresss or care.

Unreturned calls or emails were the normal mode of operation. After 4 hard falls at this facilty, my mother has passed and now her bedding that I purchased has gone MIA and the only response (after me asking 3 times) is that I didn't complete an inventory sheet, which no one ever gave me to fill out. Again, the director of Memory Care director is once again out of town and hasn't responded to my texts or emails, no one was put in her place to cover management of the residents or their families, in her absence. My view: nursing homes do not provide the care and attention that someone with Alzheimers requires, communication and quality of care is grossly dissapointing. Spend the money to allow your loved one to "Age-in-place" as the nursing home experience is far below what you should expect for your loved one's end of life journey.
