This statue of King Louis IX of France, the namesake of St. Louis, Missouri, is located in front of the Saint Louis Art Museum. Beautiful and glorious portray sculpture.
A beautiful and majestic monument to Saint Louis IX, and an icon for a city bearing his name. It was completed in 1906, two years after the 1904 World's Fair and located at the front of the last remaining building from that exhibition, the Saint Louis Art Museum. Standing nearby offers up spectacular views of Art Hill and the Grand Basin.
This park has a really great view by the statue. There's also a bunch to do such as the museum and the zoo. Highly recommend anyone to make a day trip to this place.
