Applebee's Grill + Bar, Chillicothe MO

Been here a few times. But once again the cooks cant read. Get a burger undercooked and over seasoned fries as they toss the fries into a big bowl first. Definatly a low mark. WAITRESS Awesome job. COOK AND QUALITY CONTROL. Best to try garbage detail they care less if its done properly

Very busy day for them was told they were having equipment problems may cause some delay. Was ok server was very good and worked hard. Steak was terrible. Was raw and of poor grade. May not return again.

Hadn’t been to an Applebees for a long time. This one was great! The food was good, made quick, good service, and nice atmosphere. I’m definitely going back.

The food and service was great! Our waitress however, was having to take care of the whole dining area virtually alone. One waitress kept disappearing and the two hostesses were just standing at the station talking and would not help her with any of her requests. We were quite impressed with our waitress!

I ordered medium well and the steak came back rare. While the offer was made to cook it, I declined as it would make the steak tough.

Business was clean and well kept.

Everyone at our table got the wrong food. Server was nice and apologetic, and we eventually received what we ordered. Surprisingly, no discount was given for the mistake and additional wait.

My food was not hot, and it was quite underwhelming.

22 dollar steak.it was half tendon I couldn't even cut through the steak. The small amount of meat I did manage to eat did have good flavor

The food was a great portion size for the price and cooked exactly how I wanted it the drinks specials are awesome and the alcohol to mix ratio was amazing the bartenders know what they're doing and it all tasted great

Horrible horrible horrible, I sat at the br had a bird s eye view of kitchen staff. First off walked in no smiles or welcome from staff just hard stares, bartender she was not friendly I ordered a drink blue moon to be exact, with lemon wedges and orange slice on the side. Orange slice was slid on the rim without gloves. Which i took off my glass and asked her to give me another one but use this this tooth stick not your hands As I'm sipping my drink the Kitchen staff with out gloves are wipping sweat off of their forehead, putting fries on the guest's plate patting their fries sweaty and who knows what else barehanded. So I tell the bartender, listen can your kitchen crew wear gloves when handling my food, they are glove less touching their bodies and handling the food. She goes back their whispering she comes back and says with defense and take your opinion somewhere else they are wearing gloves. Boy oh boy I really get hard hatred your kind not welcomed here stares. One particular thing kitchen cook comes out front to get a better look at me and he is staring. Anyways my food comes out fries and Buffalo bone in wings. The fries are cold and withered the wings forget about those they looked frozen, and dry no sauc, and the blue cheese sauce was just thrown in the little bowls it looked like they took the little bowl and dumped it in the blue cheese container it was sauce on the side of the bowls. The fries were cold. I didn't eat there worst disgraceful service. They really represented apple bees at its finest. Oooh by the way when my food was served the two cooks looked at me without gloves took their hand wiped their nose and wiped the sweat out of their forehead. Im glad I didn't eat there!

You should NOT take tips from
Young girls it's against the law to pay someone $5, and 50 cents an hr! Then u let the other waitress take all the tips! Who do u thank u are? Manager of Applebee's?

French onion soup was cold, replaced it with Tomato soup, cold as well. Got the Spinach dip, it was OK but nothing special. Sat there an hour didn't get entree. I recommend that it is not worth your time to eat here. Get a pizza from Casey's, you will at least get to eat! Avoid this place! It should be shuttererd.

Good variety, great service. Tried an appetizer special that had little effort given, though the rest of the meal was good.

When we arrived we were just standing there waiting to be seated and there was no hostess. We were just about to seat ourselves when she came out. She was not very friendly and even less friendly when we requested a booth. To her credit, requesting a booth meant she had to clean one (I guess they didn't schedule any busers?) She cleaned it and seated us at a VERY wet table. It was father's day (6/18/22) and they were pretty busy so I understand, but you should never show your anger to your customers. I work in customers service too. It can be hard when you're having a bad day but you always need to do your best not to show it to a customer.

Our server was crazy awesome. She was very attentive and on top of it. I swear I took my last sip of tea and she was right there with a fresh glass of tea. She was there anytime we needed water or anything else while we waited for lunch to show up. That's customer service! And very much appreciated.

We ordered at around 1: 30ish and got our food at about 2: 30. I could've broke out my portable grill in the parking lot and had it in about half the time lol.

All that being said, I believe someone forgot it was Father's day and didn't schedule properly to have the appropriate staff.

With the exception of the hostess, everyone was busting their tail and the food was very good! Let me say that again, the food was VERY good! Steak cooked and seasoned perfectly, alfedo.delicious! The wife got riblets and was very impressed. Bellies full and satisfied.

I would go again for sure. Just not on Father's day lol

3 stars because of the hostess and manager that did the Father's day schedule. Otherwise, 5 stars.

We ate here after along day and it was excellent. Our waitress was great and had quick service. Enjoyed they brought back all you can eat wings.

Waitress brought me the wrong food than argued with me about what I ordered. Than asked if I wanted my drink refilled and brought me the wrong drink. Will never go back.worst customer service I have ever had at Apple bee's

Absolutely sucked. Walked in seated immediately and sat there 15-20 minutes and never once was asked anything. Waiter and waitress walk by and just look. Absolutely a joke that a Applebees let’s kids run places like this. Thanks guys u really made my day! 7-4-22.4: 30pm

It's the little detail that makes customers thank you have a quality establishment. So if you're going to have big HD TVs have a quality HD signal not a fuzzy blurry picture

The food was good and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and made sure our drinking glass didn't go empty.

Extremely mediocre, even for an Applebees. I ordered the Bourbon Steak and got about 25% gristle. I've had better steak at a truck stop.
