Archdiocese of St Louis reviews
3Growing up Catholic and attending Catholic education prepared me tremendously for life. They teach you from a young age the importance of Jesus and the church he found 2000 years ago. I am a very proud Catholic!
When you run a dictator ship, then blame your parishioners for your failings? This is the solution the church has come up with.you dont have enough priests? Why dont you? Why dont are children want to be priest? Why dont people want to come back to our church? This is a leadership problem, not parishoner problem.leadership has failed at the highest levels and the poor parish priest is left to fix the mess.priest married until a 1000 years go. It's time to go back. It's time to be Christ-like, he was not a dictator who blamed his followers. I don't believe he wanted men or women to live abnormal lives.the church pushes pro creation on the outside and the inside pushes the total opposite, what a mess the church has created, not the parishioners.other churches ask their parishioners for input.never has a church as for input only jobs to suit their bidding. How bout a survey, what would you like to see happen to improve mass.do you like the music.is the homaly enriching or does it go rambling on and on.once you cover those things you can then criticize your parishioners for their friendliness.does the priest talk to those he doesnt know or only those he does. Ive been told hes shy, well thats his job, get over it.as i was always told, offer it up.the church needs to rebuild on the rock that christ started. We obviously have changed before, it is time to change again.
This Archdiocese is unbelievably not receptive to genuine concerns I've expressed about a certain parish. I was chased out in the parking lot by an Archdiocesan employee, Steven Gilroy, who also spread rumors that I called him a stalker for asking him not to follow me. When I attempted to confront him, he got a restraining order rather than talk things out like an adult. Instead of listening to my concerns about this person's behavior, including his attempts to bless food and his habit of wearing a zuchetto despite not being a member of the clergy. I was never once able to speak with a single person from the Archdiocese about any of this before I was drug into court over this as clear retaliation.
