ARCO Lawn Equipment reviews
14Excellent service. They back their work and the employees are second to none. Best place in STL to purchase equipment and receive service
Friendly staff! Have always taken care of my equipment even if I didn't purchase from them. Always seem to have the part I'm looking for for a DIY repair or maintenance job.and very knowledgeable.
Arco's repair of my lawn mower was quick. The office and service staff were courteous and professional.
Very quick to get my Honda inverter-generator ready for in-store pick-up. Knowlegeable and friendly service.
Getting maintenance done on my lawn mower through ARCO has been a terrible experience. I will never go there again
Great experienced team and knowledge of equipment. Bought on Saturday and delivered on Monday! Excellent people from sales to delivery driver! Highly recommend!
Just disappointed wrong part when asked for a spacific part from a spacific brand was told they had it and didnt
Over 15 years of business with them went to school with family and skating plus bikes great customer service.
This was one of the greatest times I’ve had with getting a small engine plate paired. Everyone was a true professional.

Very unreliable people
They gave me pick up appointment for 3 weeks according to repair date they said they have.
After 3 weeks they picked up and now It’s been 2 week since my lawn mover is with them, they made false commitments and the staff lied to me clearly about part then he changed his statement
Never received any call
Never recommend on the base of lies and miscommunication
Excellent customer service team. Very knowledgeable about product and answered all questions. Prices are competitive and inventory on the sales floor was excellent.
I ordered a control bar for a push mower well got a empty box with wrapping thanks for nothing it was off Amazon but was this company Arco Lawn equipment they sent it in a plastic bag a metal bar that's just plain stupid well had a hole in the bag no bar for my mower.
It was the worst customer service I ever had! I have a briggs and stratton lawn mower that had an issue of stalling frequently
So I called 'Arco lawn equipment' and described the problem. The receptionist told me it's the issue of carburetor and so I bought the carburetor for $68.00. After changing the carburetor, problem was still there, so they asked me to bring the mower to them for inspection and get $50.00 deposit (which they said is refundable). It supposed to be finished within a week but it took little more than 3 weeks for diagnosing, and said it will cost me more than the mower costs. So I denied to repair and went to pick up my mower. They didn't return my $50.00 deposit although it wasn't fixed and the parts cost. So I paid $118.00 for nothing repaired. This place doesn't follow any business or work ethics.
Butcher people as they can. Finished or unfinished job they will take your money. It's a highway robbery. Don't recommend this place, people work there are also very rude.
Brought a self-propelled mower in for a tune-up service - got a call while they were working on it that it had a long list of issues that would cost me as much as a new mower to fix. So I said no, just do your normal services. When I picked it up initially the self-proper did not work at all, so I had to take it back only for them to tell me just one wheel would work.
After taking my mower to ARCO for basically a new spark plug, fresh fluids and blade sharpening I now have a mower that does not start on the first pull, constantly sputters and only one wheel works on the self-propel. I would not suggest bringing your mower here.
