Arrowhead Campground, Grassy MO

We was there this weekend and it’s basically a trailor park now. I wanted the kids to experience the outdoors but drunks kept headlights shinning through your camp and tents all night. Couldn’t sleep bc of all the traffick. I mean if you want to camp in a trailor park this place is excellent but if you want to go actual camping I wouldn’t suggest this place. It is nothing like it use to be. I will not be returning. You pay 25$ a night to camp in a trailor park. There was poison oak all around the water spout. We camped in the tent area but there was rvs in the tent areas and that was annoying having their lights shine through all night. And I know it sounds like I’m complaining, and maybe I am, but this wasn’t camping. You couldn’t even see the stars bc of all the light. Like I said, not the experience I wanted for my kids. It was a no phone etc weekend to enjoy with family and it just felt like I was camping out in the city.

My phone was stolen by someone within a few hours of being there there. Also, apparently people live here at this campground as well, in RV's and mobile homes, so the vibe was weird. Kind of like locals weren't happy with 'outsiders' being around. Our campsite had posion ivy all by our water spicket, lucky I seen it before the kids started playing near it. We were also placed right along a busy road with cars, side by sides and trucks driving by at all hours. At one point a worker was driving a golf cart around and spraying some kind of fogger as he drove through the camping area, then proceeded to tell me it was his muffler! Lord knows what kind of pesticides he sprayed near everyone! We wont be back!

This was my first time here this season. I always enjoy watching all the people have fun. I love camping, swimming & fishing here. If you don't like a lot of people and you prefer a peaceful time in the wilderness just go up there during the week Mon through Thursday. If you like a lot of people then I suggest you go on Friday or Saturday. My favorite time to go is 4th of July. They have the best fireworks display. There are A LOT of people there that weekend & they usually have a live band outside right after the fireworks.

I love this campground. Great atmosphere and the ppl themselves are awesome.

Love arrowhead cant wait til this weekend. Always like family, and almost always like family however your new security man with the balding head is way past rude.probably just lost of us over the way he treated us.

Awesome place! Kids and grown ups like can always have fun camping here. We have been coming here for years&will be coming back for many more to come!

It was ok. Very friendly. Good for kids. It was absolutely obnoxious with all of the flies. And I don't mean a few here and there, it was infested with flies. That is really the only bad thing. Could have had more picnic tables but for a quick weekend it was not bad.
