Artist & Craftsman Supply Kansas City

This place has a little bit of everything and a great selection. Visiting from out of town I wanted to check out an art supply store- this place did not disappoint.

Super helpful staff. They are stocked well with a lot of art supplies and are very knowledgeable on what they carry and where their supplies are. I love that they have a section of random and cute knickknacks at the front. It’s great for finding gifts or just keeping the kids somewhat preoccupied while you shop for art supplies.

Have a lot of items such as paints, pens, markers, brushes, canvases, etc. Prices a little high.

I am often browsing this place! The stock is great, and I love finding new tools for my hobbies!

I stumbled upon this place while on a walk exploring the beautiful murals and graffiti in the neighborhood. The store was a nice surprise and I was able to get everything I needed for an upcoming watercolor class. These were items that were out of stock when I tried to order online from the major competitors. The prices are comparable but the fact that I could find what I needed was a huge plus. Cute neighborhood too!

This is one of the best craft stores I have been to! They have the largest selection of single stock pens, colored pencil’s, and markers of any store I have found in KC.

By far my favorite store! Quality of everything is way better than box stores like hobby lobby or micheals. I find when I buy Quality it lasts longer.when I buy cheap supplies I have to buy them often.so I choose A&C the staff is always helpful and super kind!

Maggie was the absolute best! I am an artist who has been out of the loop for a while and she had no hesitation on showing me products and the advantage/disadvantage to them. She was honest and extremely personable never making me feel weird about asking questions. Thanks arts and craftsman supply, that's why I always come back.

I adore this place! Affordable, kind and helpful staff, and they always have my pens in stock Other art stores I've been to have limited selection of single pens, but they always have multiple options available.

Great place to pick up all things artistic. From stone carving to wood painting boards. It's all here!

A visit to the store is a great experience. I cannot say the same for the website as it had items missing.

UPDATE.

I appreciate the response to the post. I still find it frustrating to see merchandise on the kansas city site that is located at the flagship store in Maine. I feel as though this can be updated to provide customers with an accurate account of what is at the KC store.

When I come into the store I notice employees relaxing behind the counter on a routine basis. This time might be better used updated a kc website.
Of course this is my personal experience and opinion.

Very nice and helpful kids! I mean young folks. I'm 54 so they're kids to me! Thank you!
