The food and service was great. We love korean food and this was the best. Fried squid was awesome. The whole family loved it.

We've been twice now, and I'm really starting to like it. The place is very clean but old and nothing fancy.

I've tried a couple of dishes, and the bibimbap was very tasty. The kimche soup was very spicy!

Always such a positive experience. Such fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Highly recommend, have tried multiple dishes and have never been disappointed.

As someone has mentioned, the waitress (owner?) was not friendly to me when I was there. She was rude and impatient with me. Unpleasant experience.

What an amazing food experience! Plenty of authentic Korean foods to choose from. The dumplings were some if the best I've had and the soup was fantastic! The waitress was also incredible- striking up conversation with every table and making sure everyone liked what they ordered. Definitely coming back!

Authentic korean food. People are always smiling and welcoming not like in some other asian restaurants.

Delicious food! Homemade atmosphere! We drive 40 minutes every week for it and 100% would continue to do so

Amazing food! Reasonable price, big portion and you can ask for more side dishes! I will be back again soon!

Don't go here - they need to work on customer service. Main points: Overpriced, slow service, argumentative with customers. My friend and I came in for their lunch service, the place was pretty empty when we arrived but then picked up after we were seated. Given it is Easter Sunday so I figured the service may be a little slow. I also always assume with mom and pop operations that they may have only one chef. I go in understanding this, however, the wait here is VERY LONG. We sat for over 30 minutes with just water, they didn't even bring kimchi or broccoli (some kind of side that doesn't take long to assemble. At first, the waitress (maybe owner?) was friendly enough. However, after we asked how long the wait would be (waiting 45 minutes at this point) she gave my friend a lot of attitude. Then when everything arrived it came at once, appetizer, main course everything (we only ordered one appetizer and two soups). The appetizer and my friends soup was pretty good, however they messed up my order. It was a soup (having worked in a kitchen) I assume they have soup base waiting and then pile ingredients per order. I asked the waitress to come over and politely let her know that the soup was not what I ordered. She then began to explain how it was my mistake (I didn't read the menu correctly). Everytime I tried to speak she interrupted me. Finally, feeling uncomfortable I told her never mind. Please just take the soup back, I won't have it at all. She then tried to insist that I just eat and pick out the ingredients I don't want with a spoon. I had to tell her several times that I just won't have the soup. She didn't apologize, or offer to make me another. She just took it back annoyed. When I went to pay I ask if them removed the soup from the bill. She just looked at me annoyed and said "no". No explanations, no apologies. Just horrible customer service. I could understand this response if I ordered something extremely pricey or something that would be hard to replace but this was a SOUP. You should never argue with your customers regardless. The customer is always right. I'll never come back here again. Be careful if you come, at the Asian Kitchen the customer is always wrong.

Delicious Korean food. Perfectly spicy. I recommend their spicy pork and spicy rice cake appetizer

Great food, but just like everyone says, it does take quite awhile for the food to come out.

Really delicious Korean food and the flavors were bursting and memorable. Would definitely come back for the food, however, if you are hungry, the wait might be unpleasant because it does take awhile. I do get it though since I do believe it is a small mom and pop restaurant and it is just them making and serving everyone. Either way great food, maybe stick with take out if you don’t want the wait

Food took 40 minutes or so to arrive but it was great! Loved the banchan that came with the bibimbap, most restaurants serving bibimbap don’t offer that too. The spicy pork nearly killed me with the heat, but it was good!

Don't bother going here if you want take-out. I tried ordering over the phone but they didn't answer. So then I ordered online for pickup through Google and Chowbus and was originally told it would be ready half an hour from ordering. It got moved to an hour after placing the order. When I went in to check on it, the person working the cashier said they purposefully moved the pick up time to later because they give in-person customers priority. There were only four tables being used, and everyone already had food. I didn't have another half an hour to wait, so I asked to cancel my order. He did, but because I had ordered online, I had to contact Chowbus's customer service line to cancel my order there and get my refund too. I had ordered on the road since my mom is at risk for Covid, so we didn't want to dine in. I've worked at restaurants before and you're supposed to work on orders as they come in, regardless of whether it's take out, delivery, or dine-in. Isolating one major method of purchase (take out) is seriously limiting business, and doesn't take into account the health and safety of customers. This is a shame, because I want to be able to support this business and enjoy my favorite dish, but this interaction really made me not want to go here anymore.

I used to live in S. Korea for a year and this place has the best and most authentic Korean food in all of STL. Plus, they stayed after closing to make sure my son got his keys for his apartment that he left there. Kamsamnida!

To look at the outside, you'd think this would be a cheap greasy spoon. In reality, it's as far from that as possible.

Splendid waitstaff, an appetizer assortment brought out for every meal, and quite likely the best bulgogi in the state.

Went at 7: 30pm on a Wednesday night and there was only 1 other table. However the food was good, tried the Galbi, seafood tofu soup, and the Bulgogi dolsot bibimbop and they were all delicious. Just wish they served more than 6 of the side dishes (some places do 8-10). Not sure if it gets busier on weekends but will definitely be back.
