Aurora Park, Jefferson City MO

Neglected, not much more than a deluxe playset, but there are benches and it's in the shade

Interesting little park at dead end of street at the end of a nice bike trail that runs all the way into the city. Basketball court looks fun and available. Play area was maintained well with deep new wood chip mulch.

The family and I routinely walk the greenway from our home to this place and its one of our favorite little hidden gems. The park is quiet and peaceful with play place for the kids, swings, basketball court and picturesque setting that includes forest and a creek. The main complaint I have about this place is that there is NO bathroom. If you plan on spending any amount of time here be warned there is no place to go to the bathroom.

This park leads to the Greenway which can stretch all the way to the downtown area.
