Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM), Springfield MO

It seems a good number of complaints are regarding transactions within the building. If you’re like me and do most of your banking online, Bank of America is not a bad bank. Believe me there are much worse. I have been with BofA for several years now. While I’ve had up and down experiences with certain things, overall BofA has been pretty good to me. If you’re still living in the older times, don’t use mobile banking or the mobile app, then I’d recommend a local bank to the area. If you’re up with the times and utilize the mobile app more, then BofA will be just fine. For me it was great to see they were up here when I moved from Texas considering Chase and Wellsfargo are pretty much nonexistent in the area

The manager was beyond rude and made it a point to try and NOT help us. He had a horrible attitude and made the entire trip to this location as horrible as it possibly could have been.
Most definitely will not return and would suggest everybody cease banking with this location immediately.

This branch has bad reviews for a reason. Always have to wait 15 minutes or more in line, always only one teller. There are banking transactions that have to be done in person! They make it clear they never want to actually come to the bank. When I visit a different bank, they seems to glad I bank there!

This place sucks. You guys never answer the phone or even help people with issues with the bank. I seriously regret my decision to bank here and will be changing banks very soon. They never answer the phone. Not everyone can take off work and come to the bank to resolve issues, or get information.

I was in to make a cash deposit for work. Upon entering I smiled and let the associate know what I needed. No smile back no hello. She then proceeded to tell me I had to have a drivers license to make a cash deposit? I was totally stumped so since I left my purse in the car I ran to get it. I came back in, still no smiles or niceness from the teller at all! I was blown away by the coldness I felt in this bank. It was an awful feeling inside! I handed my drivers license to the teller where she hand typed everything on my drivers license into their system. I’ve never had to give my ID to deposit cash at any bank for personal or business. So I made a comment how strange that was. The manager came over whom was just as rude as the teller. I must say being in the customer service industry for over 20 years now I would NEVER treat my customers the way this bank treats theirs. And from the reviews looks like it is routine behavior. So sad. I have let out corporate know that we need to switch banks asap.

I’m with Bank of America almost 9 years but I can say proudly it is not best bank. If any word for worst you can use it. They can’t even confirm that address what I’m using for open bank account it’s correct or not with id on address.

I have not once been in this bank and not been insulted or talked down to when I have asked for help. They even told me twice that I should've just called the main line or did things online instead of coming in. If I could've fixed it that way, maybe I would have done it that way, but I needed help. Customer service is an important quality to have and this one does not have it. I have now decided I will go out of my way to another bank but will not go inside this one again.

Hi there! I give five stars for the service of this branch and do not agree with the Google rating for this bank. Many thanks to Gemma Felig for the great service! I speak some English, and through Google Translate, I asked to open an account for me and get a credit card. Even for this review, I use Google translator. Gemma filled out the necessary paperwork for registration. She smiled, joked, treated me to sweets, and I felt very good and comfortable. The second time I went to the bank to get my checkbook and got the same good service. I get the impression that when a person gets good service. He just walks away and doesn't leave any feedback. And when a person receives a bad service, He always puts reviews, and therefore, I would ask everyone who received a good service. Take a moment and leave a review about this bank. Then people will see the true rating.

This bank charges $8 if you don't have an account there To cash a check from a person that writes a check from their bank! I try not to do business with this bank as much as possible I recommend anyone that has an account here to withdraw and start a bank account somewhere else no one wants to get your check from you and have to pay $8 to cash it. And I know you can take it to your own bank but if you want to catch it that day they charge you and that's ridiculous. Try to stay As far away as you can from this bank and tell everyone.

Bank of America as a whole is an awful bank. One of their ATM's took a cash deposit of over $1,000 and did not put a single cent into my account. I have called customer service and have called claims and everyone can see the debit card that was used and the correct time, date, and amount deposited, yet they can not seem to put the money into my account. Claims said temporary funds may be available as early as May 10, That is another 10 days but it could take up to 45 days. I have been with Bank of America for 10 years and never had this big of an issue with them. Sadly, They have lost a customer because of this matter and I will be reaching out to legal support regarding my money. I do not recommend this bank to anyone.

Dwayne at this location does not how to deal with el.checks. I have been a customer with bank of America for a long time and have been use this checks for about a year. This gentleman refuse to accept a check and was yelling on a whole bank. It was rude. They shoud fire him if they care about customer service.

Worst Bank ever. Will not even cash checks from there own bank. Terrible and rude. I would never consider a checking or banking account with them.

Worst bank ever. The woman in the front is super unhelpful, rude, and doesn't know what's she's doing, she didn't even know how the ATM works. I went to a different bank of America and the people were nice and helpful.

They do their job, but they certainly lack on their interactions with the clients. Very cold and matter of fact. I can honestly say, this bank has the most unfriendly cold feeling about it. I would hope the other local branches have a more friendly upbeat atmosphere about them.
