The Women's Center is awful. Refused to give a routine, annual, preventative care procedure after scheduling and going there twice AND getting doctor's orders. They wait until you get completely undressed to tell you. The techs are very rude and dismissive. Women treating other women this way is abhorrent. Making women in already vulnerable situation feel violated by the people that are supposed to help them. It should be a crime.

My grandson came here on 7/19 with intense stomach pain, the doctor was able to see him right away and immediately said he needs surgery. Christine was his nurse, she was exceptional. She answered every question we had and was patient and professional. This was a great experience for all of us. Thanks to the surgeon and staff at BJC St Peters!

I was in this hospital for 6 nights and was very very sick. I could hear the nurse's in heated arguments on 2 occasions. They were very short staffed. They let me go the entire time without a BM. They sent me home stinking from not getting bathed. It seems they mostly ignored my advance directive.

I've been going to BJC St. Peter's medical complex for my medical needs for several years. My family practitioner is there and I also go there for routine women's healthcare, including mammograms. Everyone I have come in contact with by phone or in person; receptionists, radiologists, technicians, nurses, and doctors, have been knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and willing to answer questions. My appointments have been scheduled promptly and I'm always seen either on time, and sometimes even earlier than scheduled. I'm a bit shocked at all the negative reviews. Granted I've not had a hospital stay or experienced the emergency room.

I found the greeters quite friendly and welcoming, and the two who greeted me helped find a member of my church quickly by giving me the room number and clear directions to the room. There was an informative lung cancer screening demonstration going on in the hallway near the elevators, and the nurses on the 2nd floor were most hospitable (no pun intended), friendly, and helpful, especially Rachelle!

Would not take my dog there. Uncaring and Unprofessional act like a bunch of teenagers laughing talking loud and eating munchies ignoring the patients and cant tell a real emergency from a cold. BJC needs to take a long hard look at this place. I will never go back again.

I arrived 5 hours ago, with kidney stones. They placed me in a room at 12 noon no IV no meds. I had bariatric surgery I am so dehydrated. They keep walking by and no one will help me. This is unethical! I am yelling out to them they are ignoring me.

Daughter was just there. Cardiologist didn't even know that he was talking to wrong patient. Incompetent hospital. Nurses were nice though.

Empty waiting room, 2 hours and counting. Still not seen? !? !? ! I would expect this from a full waiting room.

I will be driving a little further next time to the kids ER where they are seen faster.

Horrible experience waited four hours and just went home. They wouldn’t give me anything for my nausea and diarrhea while I was waiting. I ended up dry heaving in the lobby multiple times and going to the bathroom as quick as I could for the diarrhea. I wish I would have read these reviews before hand.

Came to this facility having been sent after an evaluation from Urgen care that deemed my condition to be serious enough to warrant additional evaluation. Contacted my primary care physician and he agreed I should be seen by ER to sit for 7 hours waiting to be seen at this ER. Was put in a bed outside the nurses station to be given pain medication and told to follow up with my primary doctor. I will never go to this facility again. The ER doctor was overly tired and dismissed my Dr the urgen care evaluation and myself. If you care for your loved ones do not go here!

Not sure where my original review went.but this place even with great health insurance is RIDICULOUS. Almost all ER admittances are level 3 which ended up around $2k (before insurance) WITH NO OTHER SERVICES. And i was told I was charged a level 3 because I had a blood test. AND THE BLOOD TEST WAS A SEPARATE CHARGE to a doctor at a DIFFERENT HOSPITAL. SO you charged me more just to charge me more? The dr I saw at the ER was also another separate charge because he is with a different medical group? Absolutely outrageous. Mind you while I was there I got 0 answers, a referral to a doctor in their network with even worse reviews than the ER, and took over 7 hours to be seen in a not busy day. Had to have 2 blood draws because the first one "sat for too long" and coagulated, and the woman who put in my IV did it so improperly that it dried up and was extremely painful when they attempted to draw more blood the second time. I dont care that this is the closest hospital to me, even if on my death bed in a different emergency I will request a different hospital. Disgusting.

As a caregiver for someone I watched them freely give out OxyContin when someone said there pain level was none. I had a huge problem with this. As it shouldn’t have been given to them. I thought we were fighting the war on this not handing them out freely. I was not happy as the patient was supposedly trying to get off them.
