B&B Festus 8 Cinema

We love festus b&b! The staff is always helpful! No one "loves" the prices of going to the theater but the cost of having the experience and having a nice theater with a friendly staff is worth it to me.

My husband and I recently visited for the first time to watch The Blind. Half way through the movie the theater was so HOT I had to leave due to an asthma attack. Multiple people in the theater were fanning theirselves also complaining about being hot.

Thank you for telling me I should have handled the situation differently in the MIDDLE OF AN ASTHMA ATTACK, rather than looking into why your theater was miserably hot. After reading other reviews it seems your establishment has a history of the theater being hot during Christian movies.

From exterior building appears to be vacant building with almost no advertising what it is.parking lot has little lighting.went for a movie which started 25 minutes after starting time.i had to contact staff several times to inquire if movie was going to play or not.tickets and food/drinks are expensive.

Tried to go see the Barbie movie yesterday. Got there a half hour before the movie and the theater doors were completely locked. This was an afternoon movie as well. No notes or signs in the door either.

Great local area theater in Festus, MO! The seating is spacious with reclining chairs. And a full service bar is available for an adult beverage!

Comfortable reclining chairs, cup holders, adult drinks, easy to hear, great staff. Great experience.

Everything was great right up until I went to the bathroom, I know sounds weird but please listen as this is very important! PEEPING TOM HOLE! In the women’s restroom the last stall right across from the toilet is a perfectly circular hole in the wall. I got closer to inspect and found this very very strange and remembered before walking in I saw a few workers in a storage closet chatting away while grabbing things. I didn’t think anything of this till I saw the hole and it is right where that room is leading to! As I walked out the door was still open so I slowed down to take a peek. Sure enough you can see a break in the wall with nothing obstructing the view of it and a small light where the crack is, it was very obvious this hole was made from inside of the girls bathroom into that storage room. Please be cautious and aware this is the B and B theaters in Festus Mo. Be watchful and mindful, this could all be a misunderstanding but I did not want to risk the chance and I also plugged the hole with a tuft of a paper sticking out so it’s very visible to one who sees and no one can peek through unless removed.

While all movie theaters have heavily overpriced concessions, this is one of the priciest. The theaters weren't bad, but the sound quality wasn't great. The volume was pretty low for a theater. I'm not sure if "Sound of Freedom" doesn't have surround sound, but if it does, it was nothing to write home about. Overall, I would recommend this theater for someone who lives in Festus and doesn't want to go far for a movie. Other than that, go to Ronnie's.

Pro: the seats were motorized and could recline as well as heat up with a Low and High heat setting. There wasn’t a lot of junk before the movie like with Wehrenberg Cons: the price of everything. Tickets, concessions, just outrageous.

Called several times and will not answer the phone, online will not let you purchase tickets.

Has assigned seating I like the old days when you could just go in and set where you wanted to but it's the sign of the times place is clean and has good workers

Terrible experience. Rude staff. Given tickets for wrong date, no apologizes for the inconvenience. They said it happens all the time was their excuse. Theater and bathrooms are dirty. Very rude staff.

Horrible experience trying to see “ Sound Of Freedom. ” Our movie was supposed to start at 9: 50 p.m. And we are still watching ads at 10: 30 p.m. The theatre is very hot with no circulating air.

The movie experience was quality enough, seating, the screen, sound, etc. But the price of popcorn, soda, and candy is outrageous!

Nice, clean, friendly family owned theater. No issues when we went to see Sound of Freedom as reported nationwide from other theaters.
Very comfortable reclining seats. A good experience overall.
