Belle Nail Studio, Independence MO

I went to them yesterday to help fix another salons mistake and they did AMAZING they didn’t hurt me with the file like most places do, they took pride in there work making sure to make each nail is perfect and I’m so happy with the results 10/10 would definitely recommend them and I’m definitely coming back from now on!

Made an appointment and the stylist was waiting for me when I arrived. Very competent and friendly.

Excellent service. Great nail techs. Great selection of colors and techniques. Clean place. Reasonable prices. Member of the Independence Chamber. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Update after salon’s response: I’ve been to countless salons and I’ve never heard of anyone calling a salon of any sort to ask if they accepted walk ins if they were not intending to go that day or at that moment. If I was intending on coming on another day, I could have easily made an appointment right?

Again, as a business owner, it is YOUR responsibility to relay information to the customer about YOUR establishment. In your response below you said that it is always yes based upon availability, but you knew you had no availability and still said yes and didn’t clarify that you weren’t available. Was I supposed to stay on the phone and do your job for you? I got the info I thought I needed, thanked you and hung up. Just admit that you missed the mark and will do better.

In addition, the sweat shop comment was completely unnecessary as anyone who gets their nails done does not want to be rushed and I am no exception and wouldn’t ask any salon to do such a thing.

It’s obvious this place does not accept criticism very well. That’s a bad look.

Needed my nails done, called beforehand and asked specifically if they accepted walk ins. The gentleman on the phone said yes. I came and they said they have other customers coming so would not be able to service me. Poor communication.

Good service, very sanitary and very calming which is great. They all do a excellent job every time I go there.

My pedicure was okay. Spent a long time waiting, just sitting with my feet in the water. My husband waited so long we almost left. The man who owns the place was berating a member of the staff. I think her name was Sonny but could’ve wrong. He full on yelled at her and humiliated her. She went to the back, and he continued to talk badly about her to the customers the whole time we were there. It was cringe worthy.

The atmosphere & cleanliness is very calm & relaxing. Staff is very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and engaging. I would highly recommend them.

Best pedicures around! They have very good customer service and make the visit very relaxing. I get the deluxe pedicure and I really appreciate that I get to pick the scent they use from about 15 options. No other place I’ve been to lets me do that. If you’re looking for a great, relaxing pedicure, this is the place to go.

I get tha fact a business is not always gonna meet and or exceed ones expectations, nor is tha customer always right. However I strongly feel tha way in which an owner/ co-owner or representative responds to such criticism, here online, does more than speak volumes on various levels.

Decided to visit this nail salon during my vacation in Kansas City. I was so pleasantly surprised - not only by the attention to detail but by the customer service. The owner was a pleasure to chat with. My nails are perfect - the color is vibrant, the shape is nice, and the massage was awesome. Definitely recommend the deluxe package! Whenever I’m visiting, I will definitely come back.

I have been coming to this salon for over a year and I have never loved a nail salon more. Hope is an absolutely amazing nail artist. She’s so patient and extremely kind.
Today tho I experienced a pedicure that was unlike any other pedi I’ve ever had. Sunny was my tech and she gave by far the best pedicure ever. Her massage technique was unmatched. She talked just enough to make me feel appreciated but didn’t expect me to carry on a full conversation the entire time. I HIGHLY recommend visiting her if you’re looking for a nice relaxing experience.

I have NEVER EVER complained about a pedicure! I have had black gel polish out on my toes for 10+ years. I assumed that was what was used when I went this salon. When I got home I realized the color was navy blue. I went back to have them redo it and the owner, I assume, told me I was wrong. I had asked several people, even strangers, to make sure I was not wrong before I went back. He was extremely rude to me in front of other customers. I asked him to show me the sample nail with the black gel polish on it so we could compare. Sure enough, there was no sample. He just kept showing me a bottle with no color name on it! I have never once complained about a pedicure in my life. It is for sure I will never go back there again. I was trying to find a new place and small business in Independence to support them. I went to another local salon right after and they agreed it was NAVY BLUE!
Also, whoever responds to the reviews has a chip on his/her shoulder. It is exactly the type of customer service I was greeted with my first time there. In his/her own words…the customer service was “shameful! ”

I have always loved going to this salon and had great results. Today a woman came in and asked to have her polish redone as it was not the color she asked for. She wanted black, and they did midnight blue. She asked for a black polish to compare, and he argued with her loudly. It made the entire salon uncomfortable. I was shocked at his arguing. He could have done a quick repaint and be done. He lost me as a customer today too. I go there to relax.

My husband and I both got pedis and were both beyond happy with the services We just found ourselves a new nail salon from here on out!

Belle Nail Studio is such a great place! Entire staff is amazing, very friendly, plus they do an excellent pedicure. I am so happy to have found Belle Nail Studio and would highly recommend checking them out.

I was so excited after reading the reviews to come here yesterday. Now I'm not happy at all. 3 times I was cut by over filing and trimming with cuticle trimmers. The lady was clearly sick and continuesly wiping her runny nose on her arm. I would call the store and speak with the manager but he was sitting right next to her the entire time so he is already fully aware that he works his employees even when they are not healthy enough to work so much they hurt their clients due to the inability to properly perform their job. Don't waste ur money here

Wonderful nail salon. They were very accommodating when I called and asked if they could fit me in for a manicure and pedicure. Plus, they did a fantastic job as well!
