Ben-Steele Properties LLC, Springfield MO

Had to find a place in Springfield on short notice and the only place I could find was through Ben Steele Properties. House had a faint smell of dog urine in January. Also the yard hasn't been cleaned in months. As winter turned to spring you could tell the urine odor was going to keep getting stronger as it grew warmer and more humid. Long story short had to escape this place in May luckily my work paid for relocation. Not only did I have to pay 4000 dollars to break the lease but they had the nerve to charge me for carpet cleaning out of my security deposit. I could go on and on instead I'll just say I don't recommend Ben Steele Properties.

If you want a management company that doesn't take care of their property and doesn't care about upkeep rent from them

Paula has been great to work with. She makes sure any maintenance that needs to be done is done in a timely manner and she's just the best person. If we hadn't bought a house we wouldn't be moving.

Paula has treated us like family, she's extremely patient and will get anything that needs to be done. She's one of the best people I've worked with when it comes to renting really anything, we're glad we made the right move to go with Ben Steele, but in reality we're here for Paula!

Ben-Steele Properties has treated me like family. Paula and her team actually care about you as a tenant. Your not just a rent check to them, your a person. I have rented from them for over five years now. Out of all the landlords I have had, they are hands down the best!

Judy, Maybe you should update Paula on your rules she is misleading however I think you are great I'm sorry it didn't work out

I was hired to be the maintainance tech. Paula told me that I would not have to work out in the heat I was only hired to fill the maintenance technician position I wouldn't have to do grounds but it wasn't long when I was working out side doing grounds mostly because all the other help only worked whenever they felt like it and they needed me because they were behind I had a heat stroke before as I told paula this is why she gave me the flimsy promise that I would not have to deal with the heat I ended up quiting for health reasons it's not all Paula's fault though randy her baby complains until he gets his way momma has to protect her baby I suppose.this is only my experience others my have had a great ol time with them but I didn't.
