This Best buy was really fun. Everything was really streamlined and really well prepared to be safe during this pandemic. I use the order-ahead service and I was able to go in and out very quickly they had everything for me within an hour.
The people working there were nice and polite and helped me find what I needed to get to without any sort of disgust or grumpiness.

The store also offers curbside pickup which I really appreciate I think I will use that in future as I don't like to go into stores at all really during the pandemic right now. I hope they keep it after the pandemic ends

I've always had good luck with them. Friendly, helpful staff. The other day, when I needed something they weren't carrying, the dude even pointed me to another local store that did. Things like that makes me more likely to return.

The manager, Joe, refused to give me a set of speakers I paid for in full because "Best Buy hasn't paid *this store* for your order. " He convinced me to cancel the order online, which I was short-changed on for $11. He then refused to adjust the transation to accomidate for the discrepancy. Wouldn't even give me $10 store credit. I had to walk away from the order I had already paid for, and bestbuy stole $11 from me. After that, I was hung up on FOUR TIMES after being put on hold to speak to a supervisor.two wasted evenings later, I advise anyone reading this that you stay away from Best Buy entirely- these crooks. At the very least, stay away from Lee's Summit Best Buy.

Excellent deal on a washer today, and the staff back in the appliance section is top-notch!
I continued to stick with a front-load washer due to it's durability, cleaning ability, speed, and reduced water consumption.

Employee didn't seem knowledgeable about product I bought. I asked him if phone was easily rooted. He didn't know what "rooting a phone" meant. Other than that it was an average visit. Staff didn't constantly ask if I needed help

Quick and easy. Arrived at store, they scanned my barcode in the email, went to the warehouse and loaded it into my vehicle. Perfect.

My daughter needed to get her iPhone replaced by Geek Squad at Best Buy. I guess doing their job and correctly putting the new phone back on the T-Mobile network was too much to ask? Granted, my teenage daughter probably should've had more common sense before leaving the store but come on, do your job! Instead I had to drive another 120 min, round trip, and wait about 40 minutes for the same person to do their job AGAIN. And after to speaking with my local T-Mobile store, they receive plenty of complaints like this about Best Buy. So, simply put horrible customer service experience!

Sales lady returned a product I got from another store, then placed the money on a gift card, then bought the product back, even though there were none in stock at that store, just to make an appointment for installation. Seems fishy to me because I have the "Total Protection" plan.
At another Best Buy store, the rep said I can call for an installation at any time! ‍️

Be cautious in purchasing GE appliances from Best Buy / Pacific or frankly any other vendor. I purchased a GE refrigerator in June 2021 and the ice maker has not worked correctly since the day of purchase. Also when Best Buy's delivery service (3rd party) delivered the refrigerator they damaged our home's front door and the door to the refrigerator. Best Buy [Geek Squad] did replace the door and after a few months the insurance of the 3rd party vendor did pay for the front door damage. However it has been over 4 months and the ice maker is still not repaired. I am told that the parts are not available.
My understanding from talking with tech's the door mounted ice makers have issues and since GE sold their company to China parts are difficult to obtain. Best Buy has no longer communicated with us about the needed repairs, so I am forced to work with a local GE appliance repair vendor to hopefully repair the refrigerator.

A year ago I might've walked in and taken the mask. I'm tired of enabling this behavior. I don't care anymore.

Day 589 of "2 weeks to flatten the curve. " get out while you can.

My friend and I went into pick up her new iphone and trade in her old phone.

It took 15 minutes for the store pick-up employee to get her phone as he had to go through 3 other employees to figure out how to get the phone out of a cage where they keep the pick-up orders. Then they scanned a wrong barcode.

So then we were taken to the cellphone section for a manager to help us while he was training a new employee on what to do. They started setting my friend's phone up and transferring her data to the new phone. It was taking some time so we decided to look around the store while we wait.

When we went back, the manager was no where to be seen, a bunch of employees just hanging out at the front of the store, and the new employee was clearly lost on what to do.

Thankfully, Justin took charge and called T Mobile and finished setting up the phone. It took us 2.5 hours for the whole ordeal. Full of incompetent employees just loitering around the store and hanging out. Thank goodness for Justin.

Definitely will not recommend.

I bought a Ring security system with doorbell and two floodlights. They offered a service for install and I paid for that too.

Due to my work schedule and their schedule, the system I bought on 8/22/21 could not be installed until 10/22/21.

The geek squad guy calls and said he could not install as the ball was dropped and Best Buy does not even have the system I ordered two months previous. Also, they do not install the floodlights; however, I was charged for this installation.

The guys says “Shelly” will call you. I asked for Shelly’s number because I want to call her. He said Shelly doesn’t have a number.

I called corporate and spoke to 4 different people explaining the situation and they said my order is in transit. Why is something ordered two months ago still in transit? I was told it was in stock. In fact, I even changed what I ordered to one that was in stock.

I haven’t heard anymore from them. Nor have I heard from the elusive “Shelly. ” This happened 5 days ago. I work out of town and unable to get to the store.

They took my money, charged me for installation of the flood lights which they don’t even do and they haven’t called to acknowledge or remedy the situation.

Overall good experience. There were times I had made eye contact with employees and they just kept on moving. It did take a little while before I was able to find someone to help me with my purchase. Once I did everything went smooth. The store was clean and I had no issues.

Standard Best Buy. Electronic stock was pretty good, but some things were out. Many phoneme they carried did not have protective gear available in store. Switch peripherals selection was very humdrum, sort of pedestrian. Staff are great though, friendly and chatty and nice, just really warm. All Best Buy’s are expensive, but that’s just their nature.

They don't know anything. I asked a question and they gave me an answer that wasn't even close to what I had asked.
Update: Went there to look at new headphones and they wont let you in the store, saying becuase of the mask mandate. Why can I shop in other stores within the same mandate but not Best Buy. I wont be buying anything else from this corrupt company. Not going to buy something expensive if I cant see it first.

We visited the store to exchange/upgrade Bose Home Theater speakers. There were 6 staff members at the entry - a gate formed to restrict access to the store to ensure masks were worn. NP - I get it. My partner was denied entry until he put the mask on and they chased down in the rear of the store to insist he put it back on. My complaint is NOT the mask mandate! The complaint is I could find NO store representative to help me locate the equipment I wanted. I wandered the store, I searched for personal to call out to.not a soul! I finally gave up, returned my merchandise and left without making the intended purchase. I did address the congregation of employees at the entrance - they immediately launched into their defense about the mask mandate and the store's liability - again NOT my complaint. The issue was, there were not employees available to help me execute the business upon which I visited the store!
