Betty's Place, Holt MO

My wife and I went to Betty’s Place for the first time today for lunch. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming. I mentioned how great the roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes and gravy tasted. My wife said her patty melt and sweet potato fries were also delicious! Yet everything was under $10! One of the owners stated it was a small town and he wanted to be sure everyone who wanted to eat at Betty’s Place could afford a good meal. Fantastic people, food and atmosphere so we will return there to eat many times to come!

Betty's is a nice coffee spot to chew the fat, unless that is you're looking to bite into goodness. The many lunch options, my favorite is the hot tenderloin, and so many sweet desserts. You won't leave hungry for sure.

I would have given it a 5 if it was just a little tidyer on the inside, and the hash browns hadn't been a little overcooked. The cinnamon buns and the biscuits and gravy were phenomenal and highly recommend getting them. The ultimate omelet and hashbrowns were good but could have been a little less done. The service was amazing, they were on top of everything from the moment we walked in.

Anytime I'm in the area I will definitely eat at Betty's Place. Very friendly and welcoming with home cooked food for a great price. As a truck driver it's difficult to get good meals on the road. Betty's is very conveniently right next to truck parking and right off the interstate.

Betty is lovely. She has the second best tenderloin I have had. Meaty and tender. She also has some yummy fried pickles. Not too salty and crispy.

Great little diner for some home cookin'! Fried chicken, hand pressed burgers and fried cauliflower and okra.

Fantastic food; must try the BLT or meatloaf. Competent, courteous wait-staff. A must try restaurant.

Been here twice now and was beyond satisfied both times with the food and the service! Very fast and friendly, and the meals definitely hit the spot!

Betty is very nice and was chatting with the locals. Food was good and had a good variety with specials too. Good standard prices. Love that the menu was handwritten.

Very accommodating. Super friendly and fast service. I had tenderloin sandwich, it was very big and very good Husband loved his breakfast. We will be back.

I tried this place before with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I love the fantastic character and flavorful food and drinks. 5 stars.

Go there almost every Saturday and Sunday for breakfast been there a couple times for lunch no complaints great service great food great price!

Wow. If you find yourself around Betty's Place, don't hesitate to go. The food was phenomenal, the service great, and it's exactly what we were wanting. Pictured is a works omelette, and it was the fluffiest, flavor-filled omelette I've had in a while. 10/10 would recommend Betty's.

I can't recommend this place. Our waitress seemed put out with us the second we walked in the door. I don't know if she thought we were going to give her the virus or what, but she was friendly with all the regulars and acted like everything we did was a nuisance. The food was fine, not worth the bad service.

It is good food but parking sucks.since pickup trucks are there main customers.it is at time almost impossible to get in to park or out again. I literally choose other places because of this.

This place has great food and a great atmosphere. Everyone there is very nice and I love to go there just to talk to everyone there

The food was very good and the price was nice! The staff are also very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Food was great, but I found a hair in my food and I was trying to get the waitress attention but she was on the phone for 10 mins talking about non sense. When she finally came to check up on me I mentioned that there was a hair in my food but it wasn’t a big deal and she got offended and said “well this isn’t the cooks hair” and walked away. When I paid for my food she took off my entire order and she didn’t have to do that, I just wanted an apology.

The customer service is regularly fast, good atmosphere, very nice staff members. Will come back again when I am nearby.
