Big Bend Grooming, St. Louis MO

This place was awful. I was hoping a "mom and pop" type place would really care for animals. But my baby came home bleeding from a nail trim that was clearly botched. Also, this place is really gross inside. It REEKS of cigarettes and there are cracks in the floor/walls, dust everywhere. It's just gross and the senior women who run it are also gross. This is the last place I would take my dig. Her paw bled for hours after bringing her home. I didn't even try to get a refund because they only take cash and I didn't want to go back there. Just go somewhere else if you love your pet.

Great experience bringing in my German Shepherd/Malinois mix who is more sensitive to new environments. Staff was patient and outgoing. Left with a dog that was looking fabulous and happy!

My family can’t say enough good things about Big Bend Grooming. Our dog is a little rescue guy who can be very timid about new places and is especially uncomfortable with anyone touching his nails - even his vet has been unsuccessful with nail trims. Not with Desiree, though. She’s able to groom his hair and nails, and he’s always excited and eager to go inside. She’s fast, professional, courteous and takes excellent care of our dog. It’s reassuring to know he’s in good hands when he’s with Desiree, and he always leaves smelling fantastic, looking great and is happy!

Its a small mom and pop groomers. They fit me in last minute on a saturday. My boy looks and smells so good and NO SHEDDING (husky)! Excellent job. It was a decent value he got a bath, nail trim, teeth cleaned, serious deshedding. For $75 total. They have a repeat customer.

Dog doesn't get scared when we walk in like he does for Petsmart, and she ROCKS trimming his nails. Petsmart totally botched his nails a number of times, but this place does them so well. Dog is much happier now with proper nail lengths.

I just took my 14-year-old shih tzu to Big Bend Grooming for the first time. His previous groomer had retired, and I was really nervous about taking him someplace new after all those years. Desiree did a fantastic job! She was patient and gentle with my old man, and she understood what I wanted exactly. What a relief to find such a great place so close to home.
