Big O Tires, Springfield MO

I got here 30 minutes before they closed with my wife's car. I noticed that the back tire was showing metal. Shes a DSP at night so she has clients in her car, so I had to get it fixed and fixed fast. These guys not only got me in even though they were closing soon but they stayed an hour and a half late to put new tires on the car. So thankful for them. I will definitely be taking my truck when I need tires put on that.

EVERY TIME me or my son have had our oil changed here we've gotten our cars back a quart low. We started checking our oil in the parking lot before we leave. I bought tires here and went back to have them rotated and balanced. After driving 100 miles I went back to have them re-torqued, as is standard procedure. This week I needed to take off a tire to replace a leaky wheel cylinder. This Big O location had torqued my wheels down so tight I could not get them off with a standard lug wrench. I struggled with a 24" breaker bar to get them loose. I have custom chrome lug nuts of which 4 were damaged from too much torque. When they are damaged and the chrome veneer comes off, it leaves you with a different wrench size lug nut that you can't remove with the OEM lug wrench. I re-torqued them all to spec and replaced the damaged lug nuts. They had left me in a state where I could never have changed a tire on the side of the road using the OEM lug wrench. NEVER GOING BACK.

I called to get a specific tire. They got it there on time. When I made my ticket I told them exactly what I wanted. I asked them if my tire was a white wall. They said, yes. I said, I want my white wall to show. Well, it wasn't. I purposely went to change out tires to have matching white walls. It was exceptionally busy on this day and I'm an understanding person but when you tell what you want and don't get it, It aggravates me.

I bring my car to them for any service they can do for me. They've taken care of me multiple times and are always polite and friendly. Even times where a part was bad, they've taken care of my with the warranty on their work.

The Manager Nick was amazing. He went the extra mile to het us done. Extremely happy with the service and products we received. Will most definitly be back for other services and more tires. Very grateful we found this Big O.

Excellent and professional tire business on Republic Road in Springfield, Mo. They managed to ‘work me in’ as I was limited on time yesterday and needed tires desperately. Ended up getting 3 tires and 1 free for a full set. Highly recommended!

I came in with bubbles in two of my tires and told them which ones. They took four hours and told me my front tire was fine to drive on (for now). I asked about the rear tire and they proceeded to tell me it was fine. I took him out and showed him the bubble and mentioned that my tire looked flat as well. He acknowledged the bubble in my tire but proceeded to tell me my tire is fine and it’s just how it is. Later that night I checked my tire pressure and it was completely flat. I proceeded to check all of my tires and not a single tire had the same air pressure.

Told me what was needed, what could wait, and what wasn't necessary which saved me hundreds of dollars. Very pleases with their service.

Had a flat tire due to patch plug failure. Was able to get a new tire installed on a Saturday at a great price. Tire was installed quickly so was able to get back plans for the day.

They only do inspections for walk-ins only, so I came to the shop right it opened at 7AM to avoid waiting too long. I was told the mechanics were not in the shop and that they won't be in until a few hours. They suggest me to leave the car in and pick it up later, but that didn't fit my schedule for that day. Told me to come back another day at 8AM where they for sure can get me in.

Came back a couple of days later at 8AM when I was more free to drop off the car and had someone to pick me up only to be told they're too busy to help me.

Why have your shop opened at 7AM when no one is there? Why suggest coming another time only to say no?

Tried to be proactive by being early only to be met with mechanics who can't show up on time until 3hrs later. Then came in another day as suggested with a better expectation only to be refused service.

Big o tire has been a Big O Disappointment.

Ok so Big O reached out for a review so here goes. I have been there twice. Both times the employees were very friendly (5 stars to them). Seems to be a disconnect between management and employees. Making an appointment seems to have a random effect. Their free inspection resulted in my air cleaner not being put back like it was. Prior appointment new tire was put on a rim after we all agreed rim was wrong. GREAT people on the friendly scale but need to work on shop to front communication and final check out.

The people who work here went above and beyond to help me out when I had a flat tire. I switched to them for all of my car needs, and they have continued to provide amazing service. They even stayed late one day so that my husband could pick up his car after work. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Nick is a great manager who cares about his customers! I had a pretty frustrating issue, but he took care of it immediately and made me feel like he really cared about the issue and valued me as a person and a customer!

Great service and friendly staff! I had a tire going flat pretty fast and they took my car in last minute of the day and got it sorted! Thanks Nick!

Put directional tires on my car, then when I went in to have my first rotation, they put my tires on backwards and couldn't figure out why it was shaking.

Poor management skills, employee (female) was so lost I almost felt sorry for her, had to ask for help, when I asked her "Why did I make an apt at 11 am and it's 12 and you've still not even moved my truck" her only response was "we had a lot of walk ins" Yes, and do they come before clients who make apts, she stated NO but then called for help, seriously this place needs better workers or train them how to run the front office, people who make apts should get in close to their time if not be kept informed of the progress, never once was we talked to. Sad place never again and giving 1 star is a streach.

Had my captiva in for an oil service they took good care of me went and did an inspection and a fuel treatment on top of it 10 out of 10 Nick is the man.

If I had a business, I would do what I could to steal several of this store’s employees. Nick always makes it right, and Tabby (Tabitha) comes in on days off to provide assistance and accessibility to customers. As with any car industry, patience is crucial to get the job done right. I changed vehicles and they thoroughly inspected it, and gave me a great rating rather than charge unnecessary services I thought I needed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The service here is awesome. These guys go out of their way to make sure each and every customer is taken care of. They are extremely respectful and honest. I went in for 2 new back tires and the wait was a little longer but it was expected beings that they were pretty swamped. I think I waited about 2 hours for my tires to be replaced, my front left tire to be repaired, and balancing to be done. I didn’t have an appointment that day either so these guys will continue to have me as a customer.
