We had a decent experience with the boat rental. Renting our tritoon was easy, but the boat wasn't in the best condition when we went to pick it up. The radio didn't work, one of the entry doors to the boat didn't close properly (causing some water to come in a couple times), and the water mat connector was broken (fortunately our captain tied it in a knot so we could use it!).

We were due back at 6pm, and I got a call at 6: 01 saying we were late. The water was super choppy so our captain was taking his time navigating the water safely. The manager scolded me when we got back about 10 minutes later which was a bit annoying given the condition of the boat and that we were hardly late.

I was with a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette party, and there was ample space for all of us and our food/drinks. We enjoyed spending time in a quiet part of the lake and the boat was convenient to get to some of the fun party areas in LOZ. We also stayed at a cabin near the rental place so that was very nice too. However I don't know that I would rent from this same location again.

We needed a switch for our westerbeke generator for our 550 Sundancer. Marine max didn’t have one, and multiple other places didn’t call us back.

As soon as I called year they answered the phone, gave them the part -# they said they had two in stock and I said I was on my way. I walk in, they have waiting on the counter for me, and I pay and leave- one of the most painless parts departments experiences I have ever had. Will definitely use them again for any future part needs for our generator. It’s clear to see why they do so well here at the lake- great, easy customer service, fair prices, and the each staff member I dealt with was professional and courteous.

Have had to boat in for repairs every year on vacation. Back home they told us 5 to 6 weeks. They got us in right away and replaced ballast pump. Then 2 days later having issues with engine overheating. Took it in without appointment and they had it shop to be looked at by a tech in less than an hour. Too bad they are an 8 hour drive from home. I would switch dealerships to here in a heart beat

Great place great service, JoLene is great, easy to talk with. I call for winterizing and spring opening then it’s done, that simple.

Really appreciate these guys. We are on vacation and without the boat we are kind of lost for activities. 2nd time this week they have crammed us into their schedule this time for a bad pump. My Mastercraft dealership back home gave me a six week waiting period before getting in, these guys are amazing and super professional.

We had a great rental experience at Big Thunder. We rented the big Triton and it handled really well with the big boats in the lake. Easily pulled 2 kiddos on a tube while the adults jammed music. Great weekend.
