Bissell Street Water Tower reviews
4Catch the Grand bus @ Bissell Street Water Tower to Saint Louis University Hospital To Be With The Love Of My Life Make No Mistake When He Call I Come Running. The Grand Bus Make It So Much easier to get to other main bus lines and they run atleast ten minutes apart so u want have to be waiting forever and get where your going early and on time.
Im surprised it's still standing honestly! And where'd the Bissell Mansion go? It was literally so overgrown it looked like a jungle.
There are only a handful of these old standpipe water towers left around the country, and St. Louis has the most with three. The Bissell Street Water Tower is located in the north of the city with its more well known counterpart, the Grand Avenue Water Tower. That said, the tower is architecturally impressive as it rises above the surrounding street. Definitely an interesting and notable piece of St. Louis history.
