Blue Spring (Current River) reviews
13This is one of the most beautiful places to visit. It is a short hike the the spring and the spring branch is wonderful to walk along. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
Beautiful and very relaxing. I went after it rained and the water was not as blue but was still nice to see. It has a wooden walkway at the waters edge and another wooden deck above with a higher view. The hike to the spring is about a half a mile from parking area. Very nice.
Blue springs is awesome you need to visit this place.
The water is so cold you get fog in the summer. Very pretty must see.
Great beautiful spring. You can even go here from the Current River during your canoe trip.
The blue spring is beautiful. Water is super cold. A little hike through the forest will get you to this beautiful nautral spring. Definitely recommend to visit if you have time for a quick stop. Also no cell phone signal down there.
Photos don't do this place justice! One of my favorite spots! Great remote camping & awesome striper fishing in the river.
WOW. WOW. WOW.hard to imagine it is 310 ft deep at its deepest point. The blue is so incredible and so worth the short Trail walk to get back there.
Beautiful and quiet. Don't go after rain as road and trail are dirt. Very few visitors on trail. No facilities.
Another spring but what can I say? It's also beautiful! In the seven-second video, you can see the air bubbles coming to the surface. It looks like glitter. This is free to visit, just please respect nature. There was a disgusting human that used the bathroom over the side of the deck overlooking the spring, they left their waste and toilet paper there for the rest of us to enjoy. I'd hate to see their home. Some people need to be sent off to Mars.
This place is really magical, if you’re traveller and love nature this a must visit place, I just spend 2hrs enjoying every minute of it
Amazing! Loved the hike back and loved seeing a place to boondock right on the gravel bar!
This is one of the prettiest springs in the area. It’s a short hike to get to and is much prettier than I was able to capture in pictures. Some people were swimming when I got there despite the posted signs that ask people not to swim to help preserve it, but it was otherwise very nice and relaxing. There’s an overlook that you can get a bit of a higher view from as well.
Road down hill dicey. From parking area easy 1/2 mile walk. Spring is amazing. Brilliant blue color from minerals dissolved in water and water flow makes water clear and glasslike. We were there for over an hour and no other people showed up until we were walking back out on trail.
