Boathouse Food & Deck, St Charles MO

First time at this bar/restaurant on the MO river. The food is ok, but don't expect it cooked anything but medium well. Music on the parking lot adjacent to the place for an additional cover charge.

Great place to unwind. Like so many area restaurants, they were a bit understaffed for the crowd, but the food was great, the drinks were cold, the music was fun, and the atmosphere was perfect.

We had a great time at the Boathouse with some friends. We ate out on a deck and got appetizers, food, & drinks. All of it was great! It was in Mother's Day & the ladies were given a free drink & a rose. We could watch boats out on the river & there was a band playing. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could!

This place is really a special one.
A beautiful view of the river on the deck, absolutely stellar food made from scratch every day, and some of the best live music around! Combine all that with the Marina and the RV camping spots you've got yourself an amazing getaway for a day or an entire week!

Food was Great. Service was horrible. Bartender was over whelmed with 5 people at the bar. They took all the umbrellas from the tables at 3 pm. This used to be a great place but after the last 3 experiences I don't think I'll comeback anymore

Honestly the worst burger I've ever had at a restaurant. The lobster bisque was really good. The atmosphere, however could not be beat and the staff were all very nice.

Wow, our experience at that restaurant was amazing! The food was absolutely great - the flavors were so unique and delicious, you could really tell they put a lot of thought into their menu. And the service? Spectacular. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we could possibly need throughout our meal. Plus, the place itself was clean and well-maintained which really added to the overall ambiance. The cherry on top? The view from our table was just fantastic! We could see the river and boats in all their glory while enjoying our fantastic meal. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back here again soon for another wonderful dining experience!

Always great for a relaxed atmosphere, the food never disappoints. There is always something interesting floating by and sometimes live music on the large deck! It does get crowded on beautiful days but don't count it out when the weather is dicey. Even if you have to sit in side, it is worth the trip. Drinks are strong, food is good and the people are friendly.

Beautiful view! Delicious drinks and crab cakes! The “flagship” Boathouse burger was a little lacking, it would have been better it could could specify how you would like your burger cooked. We will be back for sure! I’m looking forward to tasting more of their fish options

This place has a quaint little indoor area and a HUGE tiered deck off the back overlooking the river. They had live music and the band was pretty good, so we opted to sit outside. The bartender inside was AWESOME. She took our drink and food orders and made the yummiest drinks! Then we went outside. Drinks were perfect, crab cakes were absolutely delicious and that roasted red pepper sauce added a pleasant kick! Also had soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese and those were awesome, too, but I didn't have room for the 2nd pretzel stick, so I passed it along to the rest of the group, who had it devoured in seconds. My friend raved about her burger and forced me to take a bite - and it was delicious! My sis loved her lobster rangoon, but i didnt have room for that when she offered me one. All the other ladies in the group seemed pretty happy with their food, too, but I wasn't sitting right next to them, so not sure what they had. Also, I love that this place has security on the premises. We had the top and doors off my friend's jeep and had things sitting out in the open, so it was nice to have that reassurance that nothing would disappear.

The only reason I docked service a star was due to the waitress, who I ordered a drink from twice because she forgot the first time. I thought she'd forgotten again, but she finally brought it 25 minutes later as we were leaving to catch the last ferry back to Grafton. Even with that happening, the place is still a must to visit! The blonde lady bartender is such a sweetheart and really went above and beyond to take care of our crazy group of ladies who had so desperately needed a night out. So thank you, thank you, thank you for showing us a good time! We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place on the river. The food is outstanding and you cannot beat the view from the deck

This was my first time at this place and I loved it. We were there for my wife's 60th birthday party.

What a great restaurant! Spent some quality time with friends listening to live music and had an amazing Boathouse Burger. What a great way to wait out a thunderstorm/tornado warning! Shoutout to Mama Toni for being so kind and courteous to everyone around.

I don't have much good to say about this place. The food was terrible. We had to move tables because the gutter above us was about to fall off. The place is just run down and like I said the food was a joke. I got the feeling that this place is for regulars and bikers. Sitting by the river is nice but not nice enough to eat that food. Plus it's way out of the way from anything else.
I would never go back and don't recommend.

Our server and the others that work there are so nice and friendly. We waited a long time for everything, but that is everywhere now. They are short staffed like most other places. Good food, music and great atmosphere right on the river! We really enjoyed our evening.

One of the best hamburgers I've had in a while. Nice view of the Mississippi with boaters out enjoying the day. Music was great considering it was a one man band. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We'll go back next season when it opens.

Dinner was ok waitress had a few problems took forever to get drinks and food pizza was missing mushrooms and pepperoni there was 5 of us 3 different checks only 2 of us had checks items that was ordered wasn't on the right checks I love the Boathouse a I will be back but I will only give it one more chance

Venue is nice, drinks were good.
Food needs major help.
Make sure you ask for a LTOP or any “extra” toppings.
Honestly would not eat here again

My first time ever here. It's a neat hide out kind of place. We were there for cocktails and a band. The waitress was great.
