I want to start this review by emphasizing the importance of conducting thorough research and reading reviews before making any major purchase decisions, especially when it involves a significant investment like a vehicle. My recent experience with Bomarito St. Peters has been nothing short of frustrating, and I feel compelled to share it with others to prevent them from going through a similar ordeal.

In June, my husband and I decided to trade in our vehicle, which was fully paid off and had no title issues. Initially, everything seemed smooth, and we were excited about the prospect of getting a new car. However, our journey took a dark turn when we went to pick up our vanity plates in July.

After spending an hour and half at the Pacific License Bureau, I was informed that our new vehicle had a hidden lien on it, preventing me from registering it in my name. This revelation was both baffling and frustrating, as we had diligently paid all the required sales taxes, which were supposed to be included in our loan agreement. But alas, we were forced to shell out over $3,000 out of our pockets, contrary to what we had been led to believe initially.

I promptly reached out to Bomarito St. Peters to seek clarification and resolution. My first interaction with the dealership's representative, Melissa McNack, was far from reassuring. She insisted that there was no hidden lien and that the information I had received was incorrect. However, during our conversation, she did eventually acknowledge the existence of a lien but assured me it had been resolved, and there were no issues.

As days turned into weeks with no resolution in sight, I decided to contact the relevant authorities in Jefferson City to check if they had received any information regarding the lien clearance. To my dismay, they informed me that they had not received any such communication from Bomarito St. Peters.

In my attempt to seek clarity and hold the dealership accountable, I emailed Melissa through Debbie Wilfing's contact (which is how she initially emailed me). But instead of receiving a satisfactory response, I received another call from Melissa. This time, she contradicted herself once again, claiming there was no longer a lien, despite the clear evidence from Jefferson City suggesting otherwise.

Throughout this ordeal, I have been met with frustration, confusion, and a blatant lack of accountability from Bomarito St. Peters. Melissa's dismissive attitude and apparent willingness to shift blame onto others only exacerbated my frustration. Hearing a dealership representative claim, "This happens all the time, " is far from satisfactory because while it may occur occasionally, it's not a common enough issue for me to simply accept the situation.

As of now, I am left with a hefty loan and over $13,000 in cash expenses for a vehicle that I technically do not own, all because of Bomarito St. Peters' incompetence and refusal to take responsibility for their actions. This situation has caused immense stress and anxiety, and I am uncertain about when or how it will be resolved. I was informed by both the License Bureau and Jeff City that in the event of a traffic stop where law enforcement checks my plates, there could be a discrepancy with the vehicle information in the system, potentially resulting in a detainment until the matter is resolved.

In conclusion, I strongly advise potential buyers to exercise caution when dealing with Bomarito St. Peters. If you have the option to go elsewhere, I highly recommend considering it. My experience with Melissa and the dealership has been characterized by deflection, misinformation, and a complete lack of accountability. No one should have to go through what my husband and I have endured during this process. In this day and age, it's disheartening to witness businesses deflecting responsibility and shifting blame without upholding integrity or accountability. As consumers, we rightfully expect better treatment.

Jason and the team at Bommarito Mazda were a pleasure to work with! Purchased a 2023 Mazda3 from them and the process was really quick and smooth. I would definitely go back, they provide the perfect car purchase experience!

It would be great to set aside a few service appointments during the business week for things like a brake light out or other minor issues. I called and was told it would be another week to replace a bulb in my car. Took to another service center and will be done in the morning. Just saying.

I would give a ZERO star if that was an option. 3 years ago, i purchased a used 2017 Chrysler Pacifica from Bommarito Mazda of St. Peters for around 20K. Since purchasing the car, I had to go in each year to get the check engine light looked into because it kept coming on. Even prior to picking up the vehicle when i purchsed it, the check engine light was on. After they "fixed" it, it would come on again. I took it to a Chrysler dealership this year to have it looked at. They were able to properly diagnose the root cause issue as an Active Grill Shutter and bad wiring in the grill. Apparently I purchased a vehicle with a pre-existing condition. One of Bommarito's "fixes" also made it worse. I reached out to Bommarito to assist with the repairs, and was told by their Service Manager Jeff to deal with it by myself. Basically Bommarito didn't care. This whole ordeal has been stressful and disappointing. If you don't want a stressful and disappointing vehicle purchase experience, go somewhere else. I'll be sure to tell my family and friends of my experience with Bommarito Mazda of St. Peters.

I haven't been back since the service advisor refused to fix my disconnected door handle. The car was still under the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty which I purchased there along with the car.

We hadn't purchased a new vehicle in over 8 years, and truly "didn't need this one" (it was a wanna). Setting up a time, test drive, and ultimately a purchase went smooth as silk! Jon was a sincere, personable, and strait to business fella, and this was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience we've EVER had purchasing a vehicle (BTW, bought my first car in 1969!) Go See Jon Aubuchon and Terry Landers for a one of a kind, pleasant car buying experience!

Unresponsive sales people. Live in Fenton, drove all the way out to get a car and got little response from the team there about coming back the next day to secure the deal. Ended up going to another dealership.

Normally have great service.
Although my daughter was driving us to a function last night and she was on highway when she developed loud noise in front wheel. We pulled over and when tow truck arrived we left note indicating the broken rotor on front drivers wheel. My daughter got a quote for replacement of rotor parts and labor.which was fine but then there was $170 diagnostic
charge of $170. I called and complained so it was lowered to
$85. I am sorry but that is unacceptable.beware Girls

Worse place to bring your vehicle to. Knowledge of these non certified technicians are very basic. They will tell you “yes” to bring vehicle in but will have not idea to figure out what’s wrong. Again, very poor basic knowledge. They are just bodies in a shop getting free money!
