Bonnie Cafe, Osage Beach MO

Stopped by for lunch. Food was good and hot. French dip was delicious and the crinkle cut fries where perfect.

Went in this morning, my wife and I brought in our travel mugs of home brewed coffee because we just don't like most café coffee. The waitress was very rude about it, she said it was rude and ill mannered and asked that we never do it again. So we left without ordering. In my opinion, she was the rude one, this is the age of the coffee shop and it should not be a big deal if I want to bring in my own. We do this almost every Saturday in JC and when we left, we went to the Rusty Rooster and they had zero issues with us bringing our own coffee in. I won't be back to Bonnie's.

10.28.23 Back again and today, l had one of the BEST country fried steak and gravy plates I've had in a long time. The hashbrowns were on point, and the steak was crunchy, yet tender.
Sadly, my biscuits & gravy were cold, but l brought them home, warmed them up, and all was well.
The service was, as always, friendly and professional, extra shout out to Melissa for being such a GREAT face for the restaurant. I'm glad we're locals. It's nice to have a place like this here at the lake. A+

This humble cafe has come a long way since the start of Covid. It's decorated with a comfy, country vibe but not over the too.
The service is professional and friendly but never intrusive.
We've started coming back a few weeks ago, and we love it.
The food is tasty, with large portions, and served pretty quickly.
Today, l had one of THE best club sandwiches I've had in a long time. My husband always eats breakfast and is always happy w/his choices.
This is the kind of laid-back place where a person can eat alone and not feel uncomfortable or weird. A+ experience, and I'm glad we live here & can come often. Thanks, Bonnie's Cafe! A+

Nothing special. Average breakfast food. Service was ok. There are Better options for breakfast around the lake. Won’t be back

We came when the Restaurant was mostly Empty and had Good Service. My husband and son had the All You Can Eat Breakfast which was Delicious. They liked the French Toast & Different Omelettes.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! We went during BikeFest, meaning it was busy! The service was absolutely the best and food was great. Breakfast servings were big! Great place.

This is a family friendly place with homestyle cooking, friendly waitresses, good prices, all you can eat fried chicken on Thursday that is really good, and senior priced meals on Wednesday, very good sides and includes dessert and catfish is very good and they have AUCE Crab legs, frog legs

6 of us went in to have breakfast. My brother ask for a diet Coke and she said we have Pepsi products take it or leave it! What! My husband ask for diet Dr. Pepper and my brother said Oh change mine to diet Dr pepper too. She gave him a dirty look. Then she rolled her eyes as she was walking away. When she brought my water she still had an attitude! Not paying money to have someone act that way. Leave your attitude at home. My brother is one of the nicest people ever and did not deserve to be treated that way.

Absolutely phenomenal food breakfast is my main meal everyday so it’s quite important for me personally, came down to partake in lake of the Ozarks bike fest and will be attending in the future again, staff were all courteous even where as they were running hard to keep up with all the customers, will be my go to cafe next year and many more years to come, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Best white gravy and biscuits I've had in a restaurant. The all you can eat breakfast is no joke.

We absolutely enjoy Bonnie Cafe. Its our Sunday go to after church. The staff is always happy and ready for a fun conversation. As far as good goes, we have never had anything bad and always more than should be eaten. Biscuits and gravy.yummy! Biscuits are always soft and fluffy and drenched in gravy! The Haystack is a great choice oh, and don't skip the pancakes! They are big!

If you are like me and have lived in this area for years and years and have not been to Bonnie's, shame on you! If you are new, make this your first stop. I am fairly confident I died and went to heaven with my first bite of fried chicken, haven't had chicken that good since my grandmother died. The dishes and cups are a throw back to grandma and grandpa's house, quaint and old timey, but very cute. My hubby and I are already planning our next visit and we are still finishing our food from this visit.

Bonnie Cafe is a staple for my friends and I to come to eat breakfast when we are down at the lake! Can’t beat the all you can eat breakfast menu.

This is excellent homemade food, seasoned well, nice portions, and reasonably priced. So far we’ve had breakfasts and fried chicken. We’ll be back for more each week.

This place was really cheap and had HUGE serving sizes so if you go there just know its huge.
