Good place to take your own party but getting a drink from the bar slow

DJ Cut night is always the best. Good priced drinks, good music, and a nice sized dance floor!

After tonight, I wouldn't give my business to this place again. I my be one person and this is a HUGE business, but I got to make my opinion known. I had been coming here for years and thought this was a decent place to have fun and dance. First thing I noticed was replacing Saturday night dance with bands, which is fine but there was no notice of that change anywhere. Something like that can be disappointing for people who want to come and dance with a dj instead of a band. This pretty much tipped the scale for me not to come here anymore. I was there supporting my friends whose band was making their debut playing here tonight. I came to show my support because I am a fan of local music. There was this group, looks like they were celebrating a birthday, who came in smelling like pot (not legal for use yet in MO) and being very loud. They disrespected the band by booing them and being obnoxious. This is annoying for me, because I am here to enjoy the band and have an experience. Apparently, the group complained to the manager and.because it's 'business' because a loud; pot smelling; obnoxious group of people paid "a lot of money to have their party there and we gotta do what's best for business", they kicked the band out. Not having them play until the allotted time. A lot of others pay money at the place as well. So I guess it's fair to say if you paid a lot of money, you get what you want. If that is the case expect the downfall of this place. Instead of kicking out the rude obnoxious group, you stop the band from playing and kick them out. I guess doing anything not to get sued.understandable. I at least hope the band got paid IN FULL for their short time there. Being a musician is hard work because you got to hustle and getting gigs is hard and you get paid per gig.this band did not deserve this. Like I said, I know I'm just one person and your company won't care, but this ONE person will NOT give business to here again!

One of the best times I've had in a long time! From the bar, to the groovy atmosphere, to the electric energy when you walk in the place.its just a plain ole good time. I went on a night when there was an amazing band, so everyone was enjoying the energy from them and that transferred to the dance floor! Of you're looking for a great time with ADULTS who enjoy having a time, add this place to the list.
