Boomer's, Sullivan MO

Food was great and came out quickly the bartender was very friendly and patient with my special needs son they have pool tables / darts and arcade games definitely recommended stopping in and checking this place out!

It's not on the menu, but ask for the wings with the blackened seasonings dry rub. It's to die for, as they say.

This place is a gem. Traveling from Springfield MO to St Louis got hungry and found this place on internet. Food and Service were great. I had smothered chicken and wife had Philly cheesesteak both were great. Looking forward to next visit.

I got their Patty Melt which was excellent. My wife got their BLT which was a disappointment. Two thin pieces of bacon, a small lettuce leaf, and the thinnest slice of tomato we've ever seen, all on Texas Toast, which was basically all she could taste. We both got Onion Rings as our side, and they were better than average.
On a previous visit we split their Deluxe Pizza which was basically a cheese pizza with a very thin amount of toppings - NOT what I'd call "Deluxe"! We'll probably try them again at some point, but these places need to realize that some of their clients pay attention and write reviews.

Only giving one star because that's the only way to post my first and last experience there.

Stopped in on Saturday, October 28th thinking my friends and I were going to have fun and enjoy some food and a costume contest. The Facebook page said the kitchen was open until 10, we showed up at 9: 45. We stood next to the bar for a couple minutes, they were not packed. They had a few tables in the bar area and a few people at the bar sitting. There were 2 or 3 "bartenders" behind the bar "working" and not one of them greeted us or acknowledged us until my friend asked about getting food. The one "bartender" hatefully said the kitchen was closed. When I worked in places that had a kitchen, the kitchen was open until the time stated, and seated and served people until that time whether it was a minute before or even at that time stated. However, it wasn't just the bartenders with horrible hospitality, everyone that was there had the same demeanor. They all looked at us like they didn't want us there. The women all were talking amongst themselves while the men hung their heads. I'm assuming because they didn't want to get in trouble for looking in our direction. We were dressed up for the costume contest. I have never been in a bar that was as uninviting as this place. They actually ran us off because they were very rude. Who turns away business? What bartenders turn away tips? Well obviously these "bartenders" were wealthy, because they didn't even try to be pleasant and obviously didn't need our tips. These "bartenders" would have had a very nice tip, if they acted right. Instead we spent our money elsewhere, where they wanted to please the customers. I just want to know who is training these people in hospitality? I worked in different bars for over 20 years, I never turned anyone away that wasn't already kicked out, especially, upon the first visit. I was never hateful to anyone that approached the bar with manners. These "bartenders" I'm assuming, along with the other females were struck with a bit of jealousy. Unsure why though, we weren't there to take their guys, we were there to try to have a good time. We were more worried about food than what man we were going home with. I know my friends and I won't step foot in there again.

It was our first time there yesterday and we had a great experience! Service, food, prices, and ambiance exceeded our expectations!

Good food. Good beer selection. Nice people.

My favorite place for a good burger or wings in Sullivan.

Very friendly and great service! Food was delicious. You have to stop by this place if you get the chance.

Update:

We visited again and this time we had our dog. The Server was awesome and made sure our big guy had water. We sat outside in the shade and were never forgotten. Great Service again! Love thos place!

Had a really great time on Sunday the day before Mother's Day the bartender made the best bahama mama that I have ever had. Great and very friendly people. I haven't had a great time in years like I did on Sunday.

Pretty good food actually priced well, they did run out of a lot of things including beer but the lady that served us was doing a really good job. Seemed like she was running the whole show solo and super nice even gave us a remote to watch the nascar race. Super cool. Place is very spacious which is nice so your not tripping over everyone. I would definitely go back

Mediocre at best. Food was good. We had the jalapeño dip. But bartender was more worried about tapping out and going home than keeping the patrons stocked with food and drink

Great service and really good wings! So many places have “hot” buffalo sauce on their menu that’s not hot at all. This place has huge, juicy, crunchy wings and their hot sauce is very hot but also very good. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Food amd Service was Awesome. Fantastic waitress named Tiffany was very funny and provided excellent service.

I love this place, a fun and easygoing atmosphere. I like to play the machines on occasion, but mostly just like to have a fun night out with friends and family! And I haven't even mentioned their food. AMAZING! I LOVE THEIR WINGS WITH MANY SAUCES TO CHOOSE FROM. THE appetizer selection is perfect! And every one delicious! I know the salads are everything you would want. No complaints at all from me! LOVE BOOMERS!

Terrible customer service, I wish I had not wasted money at an establishment that doesn’t value customers. This place is trash and always will be. The owner is a nasty awful rude unpleasant individual. I’ll never go back and I’ll be telling all friends and family not to go here.
