Branding Iron BBQ reviews
21Ordered the brisket sandwich. The meat was so dry I couldn't choke it down. They replaced it with a pulled pork and the same fries and was even more dry than the brisket. The owner tried to charge for it even though I couldn't even eat the product. Great table service but I will not be going back for that terrible food!
We recently had my parents 70th. Wedding Anniversary catered by the Branding Iron. They were spot on with our request, the brisket and ham were amazing. We had 95 friends and family members there and had only compliments. Thank you Branding Iron, can't wait for our next event.
Pretty good service, poor quality food. Pulled pork was dry, found a hair in my fries and to top it off bbq sauce is bland and spicy is all pepper. Won't be back
Was excited to be in Missouri in the heart of BBQ country. Hotel clerk recommended and sadly I was disappointed. Very dried out meats and substandard sauce.
Service and side dishes were fantastic but very disappointed.
Nice place, clean, friendly, Good food. Prices average for bbq prices. Burnt Ends were tender & fried Okra was real good. Only BBQ in Harrisonville.
I have loved Branding Iron BBQ for more than 20 years. In fact ever since it first opened its doors in Harrisonville. The food is fantastic as is the service. My favorite meal is the burnt end dinner with a side of coleslaw and bbq beans or sometimes a baked potato. Makes my mouth water just writing about it. Great place to eat. A definite must try. You will not be sorry.
I should have walked out when I seen nobody else was there, Terrible place. The sauce was so Nasty the neat cold no flavor. I mean how hard is it to make BBQ.
Called to make sure baked potatoe was going to be available since they were.out the last visit. 4 o clock I get there, ordered a loaded baked potato, 12 bucks. It was not very hot, it appeared to be a leftover, rewarmed. Big chucks of brown potato. Not good at all.
This is our go to BBQ resturant when visiting KCMO. They have one of our favorite BBQ sauces.just wish you could get it shipped for a decent amount
Great BBQ! It does really well for being in the KC area and having a lot of competition. They have great burnt ends and probably the best coleslaw I have ever eaten. The inside is clean and the customer service is exceptional.
Poorest excuse for smoked chicken I've had in a restaurant.it wasn't smoked.it was baked. I'm a cook.better get extra water on the table before your start.evidently they're out of salt and pepper.absolutely no seasoning on anything.awful.
This place has fantastic food and service. Because there were 8 of us we had to wait for a table but it was worth the wait.
Food is always good. However portion size seems rather small. I understand Food costs are through the roof. Maybe I just have too big an appetite and not enough cash. Lol!
Service was good. Food ok.wasnt bad and wasn't fantastic. Felt like we were eating in an office space. The over head florescent lights kill the vibe as does the decor.
BBQ is awesome and the hash brown casserole is indefinable delicious, you have to taste it to understand. There is no comparison when it comes to their sweet tea or the service you will receive.
I stumbled across the Branding Iron BBQ food truck in Greenwood, MO. Their food hit the spot! The food truck does have a fairly limited menu, but they were happy to modify for me. The potato casserole was outstanding! I had the brisket and it was really good too. They were super friendly, fast and reasonable for the portions. I would definitely stop again!
First of all, very friendly and professional staff. Great decor. And that’s the only positive thing I have to say about the experience. Where to begin.
CHUCK ROAST IS NOT USED TO MAKE BURNT ENDS. You can tell by the grain of the meat that this was not even close to a packer’s brisket. Stringy, stringy meat.
And the St Louis style spare rib? I’ve never experienced a spare rib that small. Absolutely no smoke flavor to be found on anything.
Hands down the two worst bbq sauces I’ve ever had. I do not understand how you can thin tomato paste, throw some pepper flake in there, and call it a spicy bbq sauce.
This place does not represent the best of KC bbq. This place doesn’t represent the worst of bbq. Why? It isn’t bbq. It’s just really bad food.
Ordered Pull Pork and got brisket on a carry out. Was already to far down the road back home to get it corrected. Not a fan of brisket, so wasn't very good to me. To dry. Lady was nice taking our carry out Order, just made a mistake. Two meals and drinks and a slice of pie. $40. Not bad. Would have love to try the pulled pork tho. Definitely recommend the pie too!
Excellent meal - tender ribs, good bbq sauce and a loaded potato. The service was also excellent they have a very friendly staff! Thank you!
