Briarwood Village Apartments reviews
20Maintenance has always come through when I needed them. The neighbor is very nice and I like the location. The neighbors here are very friendly and I feel safe when walking to my car. They are pet friendly, and that is a main concern to me. I have lived here for a while and it is nice to see the improvements to the courtyard, hallways, and doors. I would recommend to a friend, co-worker, and even family. In less than a half mile, there is a neighborhood market, my job, a gas station, usps, and a gym.
We like living here. They are pet friendly and the are spacious apartments. They quick and easy maintenance and the manager is very reliable.
I've lived here for a year and I just renewed my lease for another year. Overall, I've really enjoyed living here. I haven't had any issues with my neighbors, the internet is as good as advertised, and management has been very collaborative when I have any questions/concerns. Only issues I really have are parking can get a little crowded later in the evening and sometimes maintenance requests can get a little backlogged. However, those are very minor things that shouldn't dissuade anyone from looking to rent an apartment here. Highly recommended!
Awesome Staff. The basketball court is newly refurbished and the pool is well maintained. The cost of rent compared to the places nearby is much lower. The property is pet friendly and the grounds are kept very clean. I highly recommend living here!
I’ve been here for almost a year now and I’ve enjoyed my experience. It is extremely nice here inside and out and the rent really isn’t that bad for the quality. Neighbors are also really nice and cause no issues.
I’ve lived here for about 2 years and haven’t had too many problems. Management is pretty quick about responding to problems and always try to make you happy! The floor plans are pretty spacious and the community is pretty well kept up. Reasonable prices compared to others around town. I would recommend getting a second or third floor unit as you can hear *everything* if you live on the ground floor.
The people in this place have never given us any problems. The maintenance is always on time and efficient with our service request. The management is also friendly and involved in the community. We would like to see a dumpster place closer to our unit. Also, this complex worked with us regarding our prior eviction and we appreciate that. We would definitely recommend to friend.
I love the floor plans at Briarwood. The bedroom is big and I love the walk in closet. The amenities here are great and they have a huge basketball and pickle ball court. They are very pet friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
I love living here and my unit is very spacious. Free Internet! I would love to see them fix up the common areas with paint, drywall, and carpet. I would also like to see the bathrooms opened next to the laundry facility. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
I have just signed my second lease! I have been living here for a year with my yellow lab. It's pretty quiet and it's great that the internet is included. I have had to make several maintenance requests and they have always been quick to respond. The Resident Portal app is very convenient. Rent is reasonable, also. That's really what matters most!
I have lived at the apartment complex for a few years and for the most part have enjoyed it. The included internet access is pretty quick and reliable. I have had a few maintenance requests and other than a delay with getting my hot water heater fixed, the repairs have been done in a timely manner. It is convenient that you can pay for laundry using an app on your phone instead of having to carry along a bunch of quarters. The fan in the living room is nice, especially during the hotter summer months. Overall, it is not a bad place to live.
Have lived here for almost 2 years. The staff is pretty prompt at answering questions and working with you, the area is nice and quiet, the tenants are respectful, and the grounds just recently got updated. The parking can be tricky at times, but this is a nice spot to live that is close to a lot of things that I enjoy doing.
Briarwood has been my home for years and I still love it. Walmart is done the road and the mall only about 5-8 minutes away.
I couldn’t imagine moving, this is the perfect spot in Springfield. Very happy here and my doggy is too. 2022
Apartments are a good value for the price, and the internet provided is very very good. I have never had an issue with it. The laundry room is a little expensive but there is a keypad so your clothes are safe. Parking is never a problem for me, and other tenants are pretty quiet and respectful.
I have been living here since last year in August. The location is great and there is a walmart neighborhood market a couple blocks away which comes in handy. It's quite for the most part and I have no complaints other than the parking can get messy at night
Housing is reasonably priced for a one bed one bath with newer appliances. I enjoy my balcony, it feels enclosed and blocks wind better than others I've had. I enjoy my space to decorate. Parking is generally okay, though at night it's a lot more difficult to find a spot close to my apartment building. The swimming pool is so awesome I get tired of it.
Neighbor shot through my bedroom wall and was offered no accommodation and the entire situation was handled very poorly.
Its Wooten Company. Of course, it's terrible. Expensive for what you get. Expect little to no help when it comes to maintenance issues. The apartment wasn't even fully repainted when I moved in. There were patches of exposed dry-wall mud in various places throughout the apartment. The property manager is ineffective and nonchalant about serious issues on the property. The property is constantly littered with trash on the ground. The only positive about the entire property is the free internet that is surprisingly fast and as advertised at 1gbps (in off-peak times when using a wired connection)
Rent from Jared at your own risk. Worst apartment manager I’ve ever dealt with. Tells you one thing and then another happens. Acts like he’s above everyone who lives at the complex. Not competent at his job. I never felt like I was getting a straight answer. Things take weeks to get fixed with him, and I’ve lived here for over 3 years and never had that issue with any other managers. If they ever get another apartment manager then it’s a great place to live, but while Jared is the manager id stay as far away from this place as possible.
I lived at Briarwood recently and had problems with the property manager almost immediately. He was very rude and nonchalant about any maintenance issues. I bought a race issue to his attention while there and it was brushed under the rug. The property manager is very discriminatory and even went as far to tell a neighbor of mine after I moved out that he was “glad” and “didn’t want us living over here anyway”. Rent at your own risk!
