Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar reviews
19Love the creative decor here! This is a very underrated place with a great menu. The variety in the wine selection is amazing. I always have a good time enjoying a meal here. You will not go wrong no matter what you order whether it’s food or wine.
Came here with friends while in town for work. Loved loved loved it! The atmosphere was spot on (great feel and we could also hear each other talking - nice combo). The service was impeccable. They were terrific listeners and more than happy to explain their offerings. The cocktails, beer, and wine were top notch as well and more than enough variety to please any size group. And the food was fantastic. We liked it so much I brought the rest of the crew the next night and we had three tables worth of folks enjoying the terrific food, drinks and conversation. Thanks to all of you at Bridge for helping us have two wonderful evenings in St. Louis. Y'all rock.
This restaurant is a must go place, all just excellent! Really have enjoined the ambient, food, beer and wine. Always again.
Came here for pre-dinner cocktails, and the servers and draft beer selection are phenomenal. The food, in particular the cheese boards, looks incredible, and I will certainly be back for dinner.
We had the most charming experience. We tried the tour of Italy wine flight and a flight of the pumpkin beers on their fall beer menu. We got some pretty great appetizers and meals. We loved it so much that we complemented the chef and the manager. Our waiter was knowledgeable about food allergens in the food and the food came pretty quickly. Vegan options are fire. 10/10 food, service and atmosphere. Will be coming back
What a fab place. Visiting from the UK. The host was welcoming, John our waiter was kind and knowledgeable. The food outstanding. The macarons were gorgeous. Sad we are not able to visit again, just too far across the pond.
Wonderful draft beer list. Somewhat limited menu but enough choices for us. I liked my salmon salad and the pasta dishes are good too. Lovely low key atmosphere. Amazing service.
Swanky place with eclectic fare. Has handmade noodles, local vegetables both with main courses and inside of soup. Dishes such as duck salad, gemelli, and roasted beets, brisket bahn mi, a bit above what one would expect from a tap house and wine bar. I even had a "wine flight".
We sat at the bar and ordered a couple glasses of wine and some foccacia from Joey. The food and wine was amazing and Joey was fun to talk to and made sure we were well taken care of. Will be back soon!
The manager Daniel gave incredible service. Walked us thru the menu and did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.
Amazing service (thanks Terrell). Amazing food. Great
Beer on draft and wine selection. Charcuterie options and build your own board. Pricier but the type of pricier that’s worth it and NOT a disappointing ripoff
Seemed like a great spot. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered a Manhattan and still have no idea what drink I was actually made. Not 100% sure there was bourbon in it. But, it's a wine bar so I ordered a glass of Pinot and it was delicious. I ordered the special which was lamb chops. They came out totally untrimmed with all of the fat still on them making them virtually inedible. The parts that were edible were limp and under cooked. No hard sear, no crispy bits which is the whole point of lamb chops. Just fat and undercooked meat. The blackened cauliflower side was delicious. Sadly underwhelmed and $75 later, I'm at another establishment having a real Manhattan and some food so I don't go to bed hungry.
Came for the charcuterie but balked at $11-13 per item. However, most of the food we tried instead (tomato bisque, chorizo, duck salad) was delicious.
I was excited to see a niçoise salad on the menu, if surprised that the fish was salmon rather than tuna. The salmon was a little dry but flavorful and could have been forgiven if the olive dressing hadn't drowned out everything with its overpowering flavor. Embarrassingly bad and unbefitting of an otherwise excellent establishment.
Final minor point- it was a quiet night and the bartender cleared away my beers before I'd had a chance to finish and savour the final sip. Stop that please, there's no rush!
Nice establishment with really good food! The service was slow and they forgot my drinks on a few occasions. The light was too dim to read the menu very well and was a bit noisy. They also add on your entree side to the bill and it's not included in the original cost. Overall decent place with a little bit overpriced food.
We recently stopped in to Bridge, and it was a great experience. They have one of the best draft selections in all of downtown. Their mix of beers range in types, ABV and locality. You can order 4oz glasses if you’re into trying several. Their wine selection is also pretty varied, and we enjoyed everything we tried. If you’re hungry make sure to try one of the starters. I recommend the mushroom pâté if they’re currently serving it. Their other entrée dishes have a great blend of flavors. Many of the dishes leveraged flavorful proteins like duck sausage or braised pork belly with savory root veggies and herbs. The ambiance has a refined but rustic feel, and the intimate lighting makes it great for dates or just relaxing with a drink. The bartenders are really friendly and we’re a pleasure to talk to. Prices vary drink-to-drink, but they’re pretty reasonable for downtown.
I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t, and we plan to make them a pretty regular stop.
Very attentive service, and friendly ambience of the restaurant. Nicely curated listing of beers, definitely try a flight for the experience. Food is tasty and inventive. Well worth a visit.
Great spot for dinner and drinks. They have an extensive selection of wine, beer, and spirits the menu is small but they make up for it with quality and delicious selections. The trout was phenomenal. The duck sausage was great. The French onion soup has exceptional flavor. And you definitely need to get a charcuterie board. Amazing summer sausage and local honey.
We had a great experience with T serving us. Very good and fast service, despite possibly being undermanned. We loved the tenderloin, grilled cheese, scallops and the beers. Glad we went here while visiting STL!
Outstanding service! Our server- and the host- were so attentive and personable. And the server was so handsome!
The best stout beer I've ever had! I got the peanut butter one. Just incredible.so smooth and flavourful. The picture I posted is of a charcuterie board I shared with friends. Everything on it was excellent. The fig jam was particularly tasty.
