Budget Car Rental, Brentwood MO

Service, simply bad. They state their customers cannot use their restrooms. Whatever happened to being human and kind, especially to people who would be giving you their money? Sorry, while you try to act like it, you aren't the only car rental place in town.

I used to use the Budget location in St Peters on Mexico Rd, and they were phenomenal, but I recently moved closer to the Clayton location so I started doing business with this one. Huge mistake. The manager at this location is incredibly rude and should not be working in customer service whatsoever. We were misadvised by an employee (which ended up costing us ~$400) and instead of trying to make the situation right or even apologizing, she hung up the phone after insisting that we were liars. She ruined Budget for me as a whole and I won’t ever use them again.
Oh and to make it even better, corporate billing refused to do anything either. So basically if a Budget location wants to lie to you in order to make more money, corporate stands by them.

This location is dirty. There are large dead bugs all over the floor. I'm afraid to step anywhere. I hope the car doesn't have any bugs.

Don't leave YOUR belongings in the car. If you leave YOUR stuff in the car they'll get the police involved just to get it back. I'm sure this only happens to people of COLOR. Always that one worker that wants a show between a POLICE and a person of COLOR. Thinking we all have a criminal record. Also they'll overcharge you and put stuff on your reservation you didn't ask for. I had a container of olives left in there for who knows how long. Someone not doing their job.

I've never had a problem with budget until I rented from the one in Clayton. First of all they don't inspect before you rent, (red flag) 2nd I was given a dirty (I mean crumbs in seat medicine under sets and gum stuck in wrappers in arm rest, Also the check engine light was on, low battery lights, It gets better: When returning rental I was charged an extra outstanding fee which doubled the price. Then two days later I was charged $380 for detailing I believed only because I asked for a manager due to her charging the wrong card, the lady then got upset with me. I usually don't do reviews but this did it for me. Pass them up! If you have to go just beware of the lady Brenda she can't follow instructions well, snobby and
rude everyone else ok

I been to other Budgets and didn't always go well. This one on the other hand always gets it done. There's a brother that be at the counter that takes care of business every time. I mean he is the true definition of costumer service. Wish I got his name

Picked up a car today from a lovely lady. But the car was a mess and smells like smoke. Food scattered all over obviously not cleaned. Called in to see if I could trade it out for the other option offered to us, but the attendant failed to offer any support, instead offered to lecture me about the rental car shortage.

Pity

The clerk Quinton was great but the corporate offices left much to be desired. I asked during reservation about requirements for rental. I was advised major credit card should have price of rental and $100 deposit. The location asked for a $250 deposit along with the price of rental. Long story short, we will miss a family members graduation celebration due to misinformation from Budget customer service.

Brenda is horrible to deal with, she will make up fees and mistreat you if you're African American, Worse experience ever

Called the next day after we dropped off our rental and they did not have a large item we left in the back. It had the receipt from target with it. The guy who cleans out the vehicle apparently takes whatever he finds in the car and keeps it!? Brenda at the front desk apologized by saying “I’m sorry you left the item in the vehicle”. Horrible.

Very good service! Fast friendly and professional. Although only one agent, he was able to service everyone waiting in a timely manner. Didn't have a midsize vehicle so upgraded at no additional charge.

Brenda is a very unprofessional she will also cheat you if she can and if you don’t let her get away with it she will lie and do very unsavory thing. Never ever will I rent from her again. So I just handle her professionally and filed a complaint on her with corporate. To put it blunt she is a lier.

Brenda is such plenty woman she always helps me out and I love this location. Brenda has great customer service and very sweet. She goes beyond her duties to make you feel at home. I recommend this location to anyone who want to have a lovely experience.

They do a credit check when u already paid them using ur prepaid card. So u have to be 600 or above. Now get this they already got the money from my. Prepaid Card. So if ur credit isn't 600 or above they take a $150 canceled fee because u can't rent using a prepaid card. My rental was $168 & they only refunded me $18.98 & took $150 for canceled fee
