One time this lady that when I went into Burlington coat factory on 40 highway and Kansas City that lady gave me the wrong receipt and everything for the pair of shoes I bought and gave me problems with the receipt that I brought back she wanted me to go back home and get another receipt and a little tag so I had to call headquarters on Burlington coat factory before that store caught on fire and they gave me a discount for all the problems I had with that store

Cashiers stand around with their lights on while the line is very long. Manager does nothing to keep the line moving. Their needs to be a way to take care of handicapped people who cannot stand for 30 minutes. I’ve left this store twice due to the checkout process. I’ve never had these issues at the store up north.

I love Burlington have so much cool and good stuff right now they're stocked up so if you're going to go without getting good you better go weather getting good you should donate a coat for people that need one

I'm really disappointed how my favorite store has gone downhill. They are just glorified thrift stores now. And the extremely long line because of understaffing. SMH.

The lines are incredibly too long! The loss prevention dept is focused on the wrong people. Stopping people at the door because a tag wasn't removed while they are getting robbed in the bathroom. I will note that they have good prices on most merchandise and beautiful home decor selections. (Pay attention though, make sure your item is not broken)
The staff does as well as they can managing what looks more like a cattle call.

Love the store but hate the checkouts. We have been in line for over 30 minutes this is ridiculous hardly any people were in line.

I don't get the Independence location. The line is about 40 people deep yet u have 6 people behind the registers and only two of them ringing people up while two stand around watching one person and the other two r just walking back and forth out of a room by the registers while one girl is standing around talking to security. I understand that it is the holiday season but maybe if more of ur employees were actually working and not standing around then maybe people wouldn't have to wait 30-40 minutes to buy their stuff or pay on a credit card bill. This is why I try to do my shopping at the one up North in Kansas City. But what is sad about that is 25 minutes away and I live 5 minutes from the Independence location

This burlington have horrible customer service, It has very bad cashiers, very racist, one in particular called rogena, she even told me that I could leave the store, wow, how unpleasant and unethical. Thank God that I'm not problematic person because if it had been someone else, she would have run into serious problems. Please burlington customer services take a good look at who you hire as cashiers because if you continued like that you are going to be in bad reputation, and
Let me clarify that they are not all the cashiers, because not all of them should pay for this.

The prices are good however they post online they close at 11pm but they actually close at 10pm so I would advise you to get there by 9pm or before

Extremely disappointed. It is the only Burlington in independence, Mo. The store is dirty, dusty, cluttered, unorganized, Many empty racks, shelves and it seems no one has worked there for a long time. It was my favorite store but not anymore. Better store management is needed, more staff to maintain the store clean and faster service.

I shopped here a couple years ago and got a couple nice jackets for a good price, and it was a nice store. Now it's a dump. Inventory on the floor, dirty, trash laying around, a very long line to check out. Whoever is running this store now should get a job at a soup kitchen, instead of turning a decent store into one.

I have been in a lot of Burlington stores and this has to be the absolute worst. The clothing was on the floor, flung over evey surface in the store-yes, every surface in every department. It was terrible. Super long line for two cashiers. It took longer to pay for the merchandise than it did to find it try it, and browse the rest of the store.

Burlington is my usual go to if I need something nice for a decent price. I was very disappointed this trip. Because of Covid it had been awhile since I've been in. It felt like they have greatly reduced the floor space and though clothing is their primary thing, apparently you can't try on anything anymore. I'm pregnant so things don't fit normal. I need a dressing room. The checkout line was very backed up on a Saturday which I know getting staff is hard, but the line suddenly moved much faster when the supervisor showed up as a 4th checker meaning those other 3 weren't really moving very fast before. I'll still go but probably not for things I need to try on.

I hid something in the back in the luggage bags that was on clearance. Went back like a month later and it was still there and I got it! On clearance!

They have a good variety, usually, of sizes and styles of apparel, including coats, shorts, tops, pants wear for men. The quality, however, can, at times be lacking.

What a joke more like a thrift store and they had no coats. No workers to help or ask questions with. Checkout lines were long and winding. Spacious inside but looks like a goodwill store with their clothes very disappointed
