We have been seeing Dr. Butler for about 15 years (including our children who are now adults and still see her). She has always been friendly and caring.

When I walked in i was greeted by 2 large dogs and i am severely allergic to dogs. So i asked for the dogs to be put up and the rude receptionist just shrugged and said sit away from it. Then one came up and pressed up aginst me in a chair.so eventually i had to leave because the dog kept following me around after rasing many complaints.

The back of the house staff was friendly, they do offer payment options, and the establishment was very clean. But, be prepared to spend money and be very careful when selecting out your options for frames. The doctor quickly went through the options she felt were best and neglected to mention a $120 charge that was not covered by my insurance until I went back in and asked for the itemized list. She was friendly, but very much a saleswoman. Some insurance companies have tiers for certain frame options, so make sure to ask for the standard options if you are on a budget. I highly recommend you bring a printout of what your insurance covers and pre-select the options you want

My family’s experience was nothing short of fantastic. Dr. Butler, is amazing at what she does, and has a very genuine infections personality. The staff was also very helpful making me feel right at home. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here and to Dr Butler for approximately 20 years. They all have been kind and courteous to me and my family. Highly recommended by me and mine!

The eye doctor and back office staff were phenomenal. The front desk receptionist was extremely rude.

Upon checking in, I was asked if I had a Medical Insurance card in addition to my Eye Insurance. Having not been asked that before, I simply asked what that may be needed for, out of genuine curiosity. The front desk receptionist stated, “Forget it, just fill these papers out. ” And she handed me a clipboard angrily.

I was confused. But I needed contacts, and they were able to get me in same day, so I continued with the appointment and filled out my paperwork.

When I went to hand my clipboard to the front desk receptionist after filling it out, I asked if she could tell me what my Co-Pay with my insurance would be, as well as if I had a spending allotment for contacts. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and stated the back office staff has my chart and could tell me later.

She did not want to answer any questions I had, which was frustrating and confusing to say the least.

At the end of my appointment, upon checking out at the same desk area with the same receptionist, she stated I owed $65 and told me to put my card in the machine. I asked if that was my co-pay with my insurance, as I am new to this insurance, as well as was never given an answer by the receptionist earlier. The receptionist stated, “No, your co-pay was $10. The rest was for the contact fitting. That’s not covered by insurance. ” This prime example was why I asked prior to the appointment beginning upon checking in. The fees are fine and acceptable, if made aware. It almost felt intentional that I was not given a straight forward answer from the beginning though.

Needless to say, the doctor herself was extremely professional, courteous, patient with my toddler that I had with me, and extremely helpful with getting a good brand of contacts for me.

Would recommend the doctor herself, but not the office itself.

Do NOT GO HERE! The dr here was very rude when I didn’t like the frames she picked out for me! She kept insisting the one I wanted was not good enough. She talked me up to $700 not counting what my insurance paid for with extras she insisted I NEED. Now I’m trying to get my replacement glasses and she WILL KOT let me have them! She is. Ow in the second time saying they did not pass inspection! I have to start a law suit now. It’s a good thing the lawyer doesn’t get paid unless I do! Damn… she will definitely try to be nice to everyone for a bit after these reviews post but I swear this doctor is the worst I’ve ever been treated. I’ve went blind and had to go all over the US so yes I’d know. This is so sad

Felt welcomed, was treated with care and felt like I got an excellent examination. All staff was great. Happy I went.
